‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Star Jamie Dornan Getting Divorced? Or Is A New Baby On The Way?

Although Jamie Dornan has enjoyed a great amount of success with his role as Christian Grey in the hit erotic franchise Fifty Shades of Grey, it hasn’t come without a price. In fact, Dornan has been the subject of a lot of rumors in regards to his wife, Amelia Warner, and her displeasure with his part in the movie.

Most of the rumors currently circulating are in regards to a possible divorce in the works for Dornan and Warner. With Dornan’s role in Fifty Shades of Grey featuring a number of intense sex scenes with Dakota Johnson, many are speculating this is one reason why the two are having issues.

According to Movie News Guide, the problems between Dornan and his wife hit another low after an incident in Prague. As some fans may recall, Dornan was the subject of controversy following reports that he was flirting with the locals at a night club in the Czech Republic.

However, contrary to the speculation that the two might be headed for a divorce, the pair seem to be as happy as ever. According to News Everyday, Dornan and his wife were recently seen out on a walk through London in the past week. By all outward appearances, the two seemed to enjoy themselves as they strolled through the city.

While this sighting appears to negate rumors of a coming split, it also has spurred new talks of a possible baby on the way. During their walk, Warner was wearing a long coat that concealed her stomach, which only added to the idea that she is expecting another child.

The reports did not stop there. In fact, during a past sighting on a beach in Ibiza, Warner sported a one-piece bathing suit, which is thought to be an attempt to cover any signs of a baby. Although her stomach was once again covered up, there appeared to be a small but growing belly lump.

According to Movie News Guide, these rumors that another child is on the way have an element of truth behind them as Dornan has expressed a desire for a large family in the past. However, despite these reports, Dornan and his wife have yet to address the issue and state whether or not they are expecting a new child. Currently, the two have one daughter together, Dulcie.

If the rumors are true and Dornan’s family is set to expand in the coming months, then Dornan’s busy filming schedule might make things a little complicated. With production for Fifty Shades Darker expected to start sometime next year, a child on the way might interfere with this shooting schedule.

This corresponds with earlier reports that Dornan had requested some off time in order to spend more time with his family. Is a coming child one reason why Dornan needed time away from filming?

Meanwhile, Dornan’s time off is thought to be one of the reasons why production for the sequel has been delayed, though it isn’t the only factor. Although the film now has a director in James Foley, there are still a number of roles yet to be cast for the movie.

These roles include the likes of Jack Hyde, Elena Lincoln (Mrs. Robinson), and Leila Williams, which are all pivotal roles in the coming movie. With producers still waiting to hire a casting director, it isn’t clear when these roles will be filled and how this might further delay the filming schedule. That being said, if filming is delayed any further, then it is possible that the movie will not be released at its scheduled time.

Fifty Shades Darker is expected to premiere in theaters just in time for Valentine’s Day in 2017.
