Jennifer Hudson is pregnant, BFF confirms

Ending months of speculation, Jennifer Hudson’s blabbermouth pal Felicia Fields has confirmed nearly detail of the star’s previously under-wraps pregnancy to the media following a baby shower this weekend hosted by an unnamed relative. Fields even spilled to the press that Jennifer was gifted mostly yellow items, having chosen to be surprised by the baby’s gender.

The road to stardom has been bittersweet for Hudson. She won an Academy Award for her acclaimed and show-stealing performance in Dreamgirls, but later tragically lost her mother, brother and young nephew in a shocking triple murder that made national headlines. Hudson stayed out of the spotlight for a spell, returning to perform at the Superbowl this February.

Jennifer and her handlers have been either denying or not commenting on the rampant rumors for months now. Hudson is thought to be about seven months pregnant, and the baby’s father is fellow reality-TV alumnus David Otunga of VH1 trainwreck I Love New York 2.
