Hope Solo Vs. Maks Chmerkovskiy: Feud Heating Up With Twitter Post
Hope Solo may have moved on from her stint on Dancing With The Stars, but her former dance partner, Maks Chmerkovskiy, can’t seem to let go. Maks was partnered up with Solo during her time on the show, and the two clearly didn’t get along. This was portrayed throughout her time on the show, and the two went to media afterwards. But it sounds like the feud is far from over between these two.
Maks Chmerkovskiy recently did an interview where he called Hope Solo a “s**tty person” because of her behavior. Maks revealed that people who have bad childhoods still grow up to be wonderful people. But there was something about Hope that he can’t seem to forgive. Maybe Solo heard the interview, because she is fighting back in a passive aggressive manner.
According to a new People report, Hope Solo is now reacting to Maks’ recent interview, where he tells the podcaster that he truly doesn’t like her one bit. And he caught up with the Real after the interview to dive even deeper. Apparently, she is the only person he truly dislikes.
“We didn’t have a good time on the show and it’s been highly documented,” Chmerkovskiy has revealed about Hope, adding, that he would kill Hope as part of the marry, shag, kill game.
“In that setting of that radio interview this was, you know, this was sort of like appropriately inappropriate,” he says in a clip for the Real. “She’s not somebody I talk about. I don’t like her and that’s the end of it. That’s literally the only person that I could … I dislike from my past, present or future.”

Hope fired back with a simple tweet that showed the Dancing With The Stars judges holding up their scores of 1. Maybe this was her way of saying that the judges didn’t like his approach in his interviews. Or maybe it was a nice way of saying that she feels the same way about him. But Maks could be upset with Hope Solo based on how she portrayed him in her memoir. According to E! Online, the two have been arguing since Hope released her memoir back in 2012. The book is called Solo: A Memoir of Hope. Since she had already been on Dancing with the Stars at this point in time, she decided to share her thoughts about the competition in her book. And sadly for Maks, he didn’t get a good portrayal in the book. “He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly,” she revealed in her book, adding, “Maks was rough and mean with me, flinging me and pushing me around. I could see the shocked looks on the faces of the other dancers… He wanted my head in a specific position. To achieve that, he slapped me across the face. Hard.”

Apparently, there is no evidence that this went down, but Chmerkovskiy has revealed that he “made mistakes” in the past and “may have come across as angry in some instances in the past.” He didn’t specify when, and didn’t say whether it was with Hope Solo. Regardless, Hope isn’t about to let him slam her in the press. She has reacted with her tweet, and it sounds like he continues to bash her.
It will be interesting to see who fights back out of these two. Clearly, they don’t like one another, and it is very possible that this feud will keep going. Now that Hope has replied with her tweet, Maks is now continuing to share his dislike for Solo. One has to wonder what she does next.
