Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Different Lifestyles The Reason For Delaying Wedding Plans?

Is there trouble on the way for Robert Pattinson and fiancée FKA Twigs? According to a recent interview with Paper magazine, the British singer revealed that she is very traditional and has intentions for an old fashioned country life, which might not gel well with the former Twilight star’s needy nature.

In fact, Twigs stated that she is quite content with the typical country lifestyle, which includes settling down, getting married, and having children.

“I’m quite traditional. You know that saying, ‘You can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl?’ ” she stated.

Twigs went on to explain how she was raised in the country, and that she is content with that type of living. “I grew up in Gloucestershire, and there’s a certain format that people fit into. I’m actually quite happy with the format,” Twigs said. “I’m quite happy to say, ‘Go to school, work hard on your GCSEs, do your A-Levels, get married, have children. Send your kids to a nice school. Make sure you’re in the right catchment area.’ ”

While Twigs is clearly thinking ahead in her relationship with Pattinson, an inside source revealed to Ok! Magazine that Pattinson is having some issues with her desire to settle down. In fact, the source stated that this rift between the couple has been a sore point in recent months. It may even be the reason why their wedding has suffered multiple delays.

“FKA thinks Rob is suddenly being very old-fashioned, and to her, just because there’s the possibility they’ll tie the knot shouldn’t mean she has to change who she is… It sounded and felt to me like she and Rob had recently had it out.”

Does this mean that Twigs and Robert Pattinson are destined to break up? With neither fully addressing their delays in wedding plans or the rumors that they are having trouble, it is anyone’s guess at what will become of the two.

Despite these reports that the highly scrutinized couple may be heading for a break up, Gossip Cop is reporting that the two are not anywhere near a split. In particular, the outlet has dispelled rumors that Twigs is using Pattinson as a source for attention and fame, which has been one major reason why many think their relationship is in trouble.

With that in mind, it has been speculated that Twigs is in a relationship with Pattinson solely for the benefit of the added attention she now receives. With her music career just beginning to take off, this could be a possible motivation for Twigs. However, although it is clear that Twigs has benefited from all the extra attention she has gotten since becoming engaged to Pattison, there is no indication that this is her primary reason for getting hitched to the Twilight alum.

In fact, an inside source told the outlet that there is absolutely “no truth” in the rumors that Twigs is using Pattinson as a way to bolster her career. Additionally, with Pattinson choosing to star in lower budget films following the Twilight series, the insider stated that it was not true that Twigs was pushing Pattinson towards bigger movie roles than he’s been taking lately.

Indeed, the two have appeared numerous times in public, and each time they appear to be a very happy couple. Although it is curious that their wedding plans keep getting further delayed, and that they have not announced an official wedding date as of yet, there seems to be no real validation for the rumors of a coming split.

Pattinson is currently in Belfast shooting The Lost City of Z with Sons of Anarchy alum Charlie Hunnam and Sienna Miller.
