Grey’s Anatomy Season 12: Maggie Faces The Consequences Of Hooking Up With New Intern Andrew
With Season 12 of Grey’s Anatomy now underway, the drama is set to get a little awkward in the next episode, as one doctor will be forced to deal with the consequences of her reckless actions. In fact, the coming installment will feature Maggie (Kelly McCreary) asking for advice after her ill-advised night of drinking and sleeping around.
According to Design & Trend, Maggie is set to call upon Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) for a little guidance after her overnight rendezvous with Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti). In the last episode, Maggie found herself a little too drunk and ended her night with bedding down with Andrew. The only issue is that Andrew is currently an intern at the hospital, which is bound to make things a little awkward between the two.
In fact, in the teaser trailer for the coming episode, Meredith is shown telling Maggie about her own experiences with sleeping with interns. After Maggie asks which intern it was that Meredith slept with, the doctor answers that it was her former husband, Derek (Patrick Dempsey).
As if that conversation isn’t awkward enough, there are plenty more such moments to come. In addition to Maggie trying her best to avoid Andrew at the hospital, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) finds herself running into Andrew on her way out of their house. This leads to a constant torturing of Maggie by both Meredith and Amelia.According to Christian Today, this includes a scene where the two, along with Alex (Justin Chambers), are driving in a car and continue to ask Maggie about her exploits with Andrew. Maggie quickly gets aggravated about them bringing up the topic, and even goes as far as threatening to jump out of the vehicle if they don’t stop talking about her recent hookup.
Couple this scene with Maggie hiding around the hospital doing her best to avoid any chance meeting with Andrew, and the coming episode is set to feature a number of strange and uncomfortable situations.
Meanwhile, according to International Business Times, Owen (Kevin McKidd) will be teaching all the new interns about how to let someone know that a relative has passed. Although this seems fairly straight forward, they synopsis indicates that it will be anything but simple for Owen. In fact, Owen is set to learn some valuable lessons as he teaches the interns how to break bad news.
Elsewhere, the relationship between April Kepner (Sarah Drew) and Jackson Avery is continuing to devolve. In last week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy, Jackson mentioned the possibility of a divorce, which does not bode well for the couple. Will the next episode feature the two finally working towards a better relationship? Or is this only the beginning of the end?
Meanwhile, with all the bad news going around in the show, there will a bright spot as Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) is learning how to find love once more. Apparently, Arizona will be taking care of a 90-year-old woman who is on her own search for love. This encounter should help to inspire Arizona in her own quest for love. Does this mean that Arizona will finally move forward with her life and give love another chance? At the same time, a dinner party is set to occur in the new episode, “Old Time Rock and Roll.” However, things don’t go exactly as planned after Maggie and Meredith completely forget to order the food for the party. With everything that has happened to the pair in the recent episodes, this likely won’t go over well, especially for their co-workers at Grey Sloan Memorial.
