Jersey Devil Sighting? Photo, Video Not A Halloween Hoax, Says NJ Witnesses
A Jersey Devil sighting may have some paranormal investigators very interested. Dave Black says he accidentally ran into the NJ devil while driving through Pinelands and was able to take a few quick New Jersey devil pictures before the mythical monster disappeared into the air. To top this off, another Jersey Devil sighting was caught on video, and this time the paranormal evidence comes from a middle school teacher named Emily.
Critics, of course, may call foul, but Black claims there Jersey Devil photo is not fake or Photoshopped. The teacher also realizes her pre-Halloween story may sound crazy, but she insists she saw the mythical creature.
In related report by the Inquisitr, a new Bigfoot sighting video has emerged from Bluff Creek, the site of the legendary Sasquatch encounter.
The legend of the winged creature has persisted for many years now. During October, and close to Halloween, Jersey Devil sightings seem to spring to life with almost ghoulish delight. The creature is said to have leathery wings, horse-like hooves, and a forked tail.
In the past, some people have claimed to run into the New Jersey Devil in the woods, and some witnesses claim to have even fought the beast. The Jersey Devil has even been blamed for stolen livestock, and missing children.
Now, a security guard named Dave Black has claimed another Jersey Devil sighting. He told NJ.com that he was driving home when he spotted a “llama” running through the woods.
“I was just driving past the golf course in Galloway on Route 9 and had to shake my head a few times when I thought I saw a lama. If that wasn’t enough, then it spread out leathery wings and flew off over the golf course. Either my mind is playing tricks on me or I just saw the Jersey Devil. Thought I’d send it in for you to share. I’m not looking for anything in return, just thought someone else could maybe explain this in a more rational way.”
Of course, Photoshopping a New Jersey devil photo is pretty easy with today’s technology. The NJ.com reporter asked if Black was being sincere with the Jersey Devil sighting.
“Yes, I swear it’s not Photoshopped or a staged thing,” Black replied. “People have said it’s fake, but it’s not. I’m honestly just looking for an explanation for what I saw.”
Black admits that his Jersey Devil sighting seems pretty incredible. In trying to explain his own photo, Black speculate that his mind could have played tricks on him. He also believes it is possible a winged creature like an owl could have snatched up another animal, which would explain what he saw.
New Jersey Devil Video
The second Jersey Devil sighting is just as weird. A website called Weird NJ has posted the Jersey Devil video, along with an explanation by the sender.
“I realize this sounds crazy but I saw a red animal with a long neck and horns. I swear on my mother’s grave, this is not a joke. I pulled over to take a video and as I started filming it got on its hind legs and flew away. I am an middle school teacher but moonlight tutoring algebra for high school students. Was driving home from an appointment on Old Port Republic Rd in Leeds Point when I took this video. So excited, had to share with someone. I searched online and a few others have similar stories. Channel 12 posted a photo online of it.”
Critics have been fairly brutal when it comes to this Jersey Devil sighting. The video is very dark, and it would be almost too easy to work in the silhouette of a 3D model flying with some movie editing. Some have said that Emily should be “ashamed” for mocking the legend in this manner.
