The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 came to an end on Monday night. During the show, the ongoing speculation into Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis continued. Throughout the last several weeks of the show, nearly all of Ayers’ Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars, including Meghan King Edmonds, Tamra Barney, Heather Dubrow, and Shannon Beador, have raised questions about his diagnosis, as well as his plan for treatment. And while Ayers insists he truly has cancer, the speculation has continued long after filming on the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County came to an end.

Most recently, just hours after the 10th season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County aired on Bravo, a source alleged Ayers had been spotlighted at the reunion, and in turn, had thrown his former girlfriend, Vicki Gunvalson, the only Real Housewives of Orange County cast member who didn’t doubt his diagnosis, under the bus.
According to a Radar Online report on October 13, the October 1 filming of the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 reunion “was absolutely brutal!”
“Portions of Brooks’ interview with Andy Cohen were played, so the [ Real Housewives of Orange County ] cast could react. And he called Vicki a liar and manipulator! Vicki couldn’t believe that Brooks turned his cancer storyline on her and threw her under the bus… Brooks was horrible to Vicki and she was absolutely gobsmacked by it. Never in her wildest dreams did she think that Brooks would turn on her.”
The source went on to reveal Ayers’ unexpected attack on Gunvalson was only the start of the drama for the longest-running Real Housewives of Orange County star. In fact, Gunvalson was faced with shocking accusations from both Tamra Barney and Shannon Beador, with whom she used to have a close relationship.
First, Barney accused Gunvalson of lying about Ayers’ diagnosis, which led the Real Housewives of Orange County star to burst into tears. While Gunvalson has been accused of lying for Ayers by many of her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars, Barney has been one of the closest people to her in recent years.
“Vicki broke down in tears at the accusation. Then Shannon and Vicki continued to fight, and the rest of the [ Real Housewives of Orange County ] cast joined in. Vicki felt attacked and was adamant she never lied for Brooks.”
Although there is certainly a possibility that Ayers lied about having cancer, that doesn’t necessarily mean Gunvalson was lying, as well. After all, if he lied to the rest of the Real Housewives of Orange County cast, what would have stopped him from lying to Gunvalson?
As for the possibility of Gunvalson taking part in the upcoming, but yet-to-be-confirmed 11th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County , the source said Gunvalson told Andy Cohen she didn’t want to be a part of the reality show any longer after filming the reunion special earlier this month. However, the source doubts she’ll follow through with her comment, as she is reportedly a fan of the drama of The Real Housewives of Orange County .
“Vicki said that she didn’t want to return, but that is what she always says. In the end, Vicki will ultimately return because she loves all of the drama,” the source alleged.
