Harry Styles Relationship Was ‘Amusing’ According To Caroline Flack

One Direction star Harry Styles is regarded by many as something of a ladies man. Styles has dated a string of beautiful women, including Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner, and Victoria’s Secret angels Nadine Leopold and Sara Sampaio. Despite a long list of romances, Styles has been somewhat fortunate that those whom he has dated have been remarkably discreet about their relationships with the One Direction heart-throb. None of Styles’ former girlfriends have so far resorted to “kiss-and-tell” revelations. Until now.

Harry’s reputation as One Direction’s lothario took root back in 2010 when he was an relatively unknown contestant of Simon Cowell TV show X-Factor. Whilst appearing on the show Harry got involved in a relationship with Caroline Flack, who worked as part of the production team on the hit show. The relationship was a closely guarded secret because Flack was almost 15 years older than Harry, who at that time was just 17-years-old. According to the Mirror Flack has now chosen to dish the dirt about her relationship with Styles in a new book.

Back in March, it was reported in Inquisitr that Flack had been offered a $150,000 advance to write a book spilling details about her romance with Styles. Obviously the cash proved too much of a temptation for Flack, and she has now released a book, titled Storm In A C Cup. In the book Flack talks in detail about her relationships with Harry Styles and royal playboy Prince Harry.

According to the Herald Flack and Styles kept their relationship secret because both were working for Simon Cowell at the time. Flack says that she was flattered by Harry’s “crush” on her and that she found their relationship “amusing” and “a bit of fun.”

“It was flattering and I found it amusing. He was a kind of cheeky man/boy with a captivating smile who got what he wanted.”

“We were both single, we got on well and we had a laugh.”

Yahoo! Celebrity report that Flack says that she didn’t really feel the age difference between herself and Styles because the 35-year-old still feels 18.

“I’ve never felt I was much older than Harry anyway. I still feel 18 and probably act that way half the time.”

Flack reveals that things were fine between herself and Styles until Harry was seen leaving her house early one morning. Reports that she was sleeping with Harry went viral and as a result Flack was subjected to a torrent of abuse from One Direction fans and even by people in the street. Flack says that once her relationship with Harry was made public “it was open season.”

“After that anyone could say anything. In the street people started shouting at me ‘paedophile’ and ‘pervert’. A One Direction fanzine had me as a voodoo doll, with arrows [pins] pointing to bits of my anatomy.”

“There was a moment when we just thought, s***, this has gone really dark. So perhaps we did the wrong thing, who knows.”

There is little doubt that many of Harry’s fans will always believe that Flack “did the wrong thing” by getting into a sexual relationship with a young man almost half her age. Flack’s relationship with Styles has led to her being branded a “cougar.” Given that Flack was part of the X-Factor team and Harry was a contestant on the show many will believe that the relationship was inappropriate on grounds other than the obvious age gap. Flack had some responsibility for Harry’s welfare given that he was a minor at the time of their relationship.

Many will think that Flack breached the position of trust she was in with regard to Harry and many will believe that she has breached that trust still further by making details of their relationship public in a book.
