‘Pretty Little Liars’ Spoilers: Wedding Bells Are In Store For A Certain Character [Spoilers]

Pretty Little Liars fans may have pieced together the puzzle show creator Marlene King is leaving for them, thanks to additional information coming from the 2015 New York Comic-Con last weekend. Warning: There are possible spoilers ahead.

In an Inquisitr article after the mid-season finale for Pretty Little Liars aired, King teased that someone would have wedding bells in their future.

“I’m not going to tell you whose [wedding] it is, but somebody does get married in season 6,” King told one media outlet according to the story.

At the time, King’s only hint was that “it’s not necessarily Hanna.”

Sasha Pieterse, who plays Allison DiLaurentis, may have just provided the next piece of the puzzle for viewers as to who that will be. In the summer finale, Pretty Little Liars viewers found out about a five-year time jump for the remainder of Season 6. Viewers also saw Allison in her classroom writing her name on the board as Ms. Rollins.

People reported from the New York festival that Sasha may have just spoiled King’s tease with her comments about how her character became Ms. Rollins. The wedding King teased may just be Allison’s, Pieterse hinted.

“When we come back, she’s not married yet so the fans get to see her love story and how it ties in. I think it’s really fun to see her actually have a normal life in a good way.”

With Allison not being married when the series resumes, there’s room to interpret the fact to mean her wedding could very well be the one King teased that viewers would see at some point in the remainder of this Pretty Little Liars season.

Sasha and King also revealed more information about what to expect from Allison’s character when the show resumes on January 12, 2016. During the New York Comic-Con panel, the first four minutes of the next episode was played. Viewers found Allison discussing Charlotte’s release from a mental institution, and Allison even pens letters to the other pretty little liars in an attempt to have them help her obtain Charlotte’s release.

Charlotte DiLaurentis turned out to be “A” on Pretty Little Liars . Charlotte obtained a sex change, leaving her identity as Charles behind her. When Charlotte — who is played by Vanessa Ray — was unmasked as “A” during the mid-season finale, the response from viewers was decidedly negative .

Despite all the problems Sasha’s character had in the past, Pieterse believes the experiences will benefit her character in the future.

“She’s totally changed for the better, she’s come through a lot of therapy, and she totally treats people in a different manner. She’s basically learning through her students, which is nice.”

The time jump is an interesting one for Pieterse. Sasha began on the show when she 12 playing a 15-year-old. For the last couple of years, however, the actress has been playing a Pretty Little Liars character that was age appropriate, while the other cast members — all of whom are at least in their mid-20s — were playing characters much younger than their actual age.

The role has been reversed again, as the older cast members are now playing age-appropriate characters while Sasha will be forced into a 22-year-old’s role.

“It’s very ironic… now I’m younger than my character again. So I’ve always kind of had this in my career, but it is, it’s fun.”

Pretty Little Liars teases and spoilers have been rampant since the final episode of the summer aired. Viewers know a new villain is after the women of Rosewood. Fans also discovered that someone is returning to the titular characters’ hometown.
