Kristen Taekman Posts Photo Of Herself Puckering Up To Husband Josh, Says ‘Love Conquers All’
Kristen Taekman and Josh Taekman’s marriage has apparently survived the marital cheating site drama. On Sunday, Kristen, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of New York City, posted a loving photo of herself with Josh to her Twitter account.
The photo shows Kristen puckering up to Josh while Josh smiles broadly. Kristen wrote that love conquers all.
After one fan commented that she’s rooting for them, Kristen thanked her. Others applauded Kristen in keeping her marriage together despite the drama and negativity.
Over on Kristen’s Instagram page, to which Kristen also posted the kissing photo, there was a lot more negative comments. People voiced their disappointment that Kristen has decided to not leave Josh over the Ashley Madison scandal. Some of those people pointed out that even without the cheating possibility, Kristen should leave Josh because, as shown on Real Housewives, he doesn’t treat her with respect and doesn’t appreciate her. One person even wrote that she now has zero respect for Kristen and that Kristen’s setting a bad example for her daughter.
“meldizzle84: Such an example you are for your daughter. Disgusting. Josh is a pig and you’re staying and showing that it’s ok for men to treat women like this. I have zero respect for you. Unfollowing.”
Another person told Kristen to get tested for sexually transmitted diseases. The person added that love doesn’t conquer all and that if Josh really did love her, he wouldn’t have cheated with so many women.
Yet there were also a few people who defended Kristen. They wrote that no one else knows what truly goes on in Kristen and Josh’s marriage except for Kristen and Josh, who seem happy, and that people shouldn’t criticize other people’s decisions in life. Kristen thanked those people for their support.
Kristen Taekman’s smooching photo is the first one that she has posted of herself with Josh Taekman since it was revealed in late August that Josh was a paid subscriber to Ashley Madison, the website created to help married people cheat. A hack of the website, which charges a fee every time a user wants to contact another user, revealed some of its users’ identities. The Daily Mail Online blew the lid on Josh, publishing records that show that Josh used the site more than 60 times to send messages to other users. Josh denied to the Daily Mail Online that he had anything to do with the site.
Yet just days later, Josh admitted that he did sign up for the site. In a statement to People magazine, Josh said that he “foolishly” signed up for the site with a bunch of friends. He did not admit to actually cheating on Kristen.
“I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family.”
Some people from the Real Housewives world who know Josh well have defended him. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Brandi Glanville, who starred on several seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, said in early September that she doesn’t believe that Josh actually cheated on Kristen. Brandi added that Kristen will face criticism from the public for staying with Josh but that she’ll keep the family together.
“Even if it never happened and it’s all a lie, he’s gonna be judged for that for the rest of his life, and she’s gonna have to deal with it, and people shaking their head and going, ‘Why are you with him?’…Kristen is a strong woman, and she will hold that family together no matter what.”
Brandi Glanville and Kristen have been good friends for a long time, years before Kristen’s marriage to Josh and Real Housewives, having met during their days as young models. After the Ashley Madison story broke, Brandi and Kristen met up for what seemed to be a crises chat. Kristen posted a photo of herself and Brandi hugging one another.
Kristen Taekman’s former The Real Housewives of New York City co-star, Heather Thomson, also spoke out in defense of Josh Taekman. Heather told Us Weekly that Josh is innocent of any cheating.
“The Ashley Madison thing is unfortunate because Josh is completely innocent. If you knew Josh the way I know him, you’d be completely like, ‘Of course he would sign up for that with this buddies!’ That’s a total Josh thing to do!”
