‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Season 6 Begins Tonight And Here Is What Will Happen
Many people are excited for the changing leaves and the cooler weather that comes with the return of fall, but others are happier about zombies and survivors. Tonight, the Season 6 premiere of The Walking Dead airs on AMC, and it pits Rick and Morgan against one another, but there is much more to come. To better prepare you for the drama, action and carnage, here are some spoilers for the season premiere and all of season six of The Walking Dead.
Please let it be known that there are possible SPOILERS ahead for the upcoming season of The Walking Dead. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.
The first episode of the new season is titled “First Time Again,” and it’s going to bring Rick and Morgan into a faceoff. Everything ended in mad chaos at the conclusion of Season 5 as Rick killed Pete right as Morgan walks into the scene. This totally takes away from the mercy shown by others, and makes Rick out to be a monster set on vengeance.
Rick hasn’t been the same since the horrible incident at the prison, and now Morgan is showing he’s a survivor, and maybe the most talented of all. He also has a soul and is willing to allow others to live (The Wolves), even if they wanted to kill him.
With the Season 6 premiere approaching quickly, everyone needs to know that there is a lot of distress in the Alexandria Safe Zone. Entertainment Weekly spoke with Daryl (Norman Reedus), and there are serious trust issues going on.
“A lot of internal conflict, a lot of characters that you didn’t see having beef are starting to have beef. A lot of mistrust, and a lot of conflict inside the walls of Alexandria on how that place is supposed to be run, and who’s willing to trust whom… A lot of alliances are being formed at this moment, a lot of conflicts on both sides of that wall. There’s a lot going on.”
A couple things that need to be known for Season 6 is to get ready for The Wolves, as the group is going to be extremely bad news for those in Alexandria. There are also going to be a lot more Walkers this season, as the outbreak has now been going on longer and longer.
Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) told Entertainment Weekly two months ago that the Walkers are coming out in full force, and that the group will have to deal with “more walkers than [they’ve] ever faced before.” Storylines are coming together in all sorts of ways, and it’s going to make for a lot of controversy and death.
The season premiere of Season 6 is being looked at as one of the most epic and cinematic to date in The Walking Dead. “First Time Again” will blend the calm of Season 4 with the full-out action of Season 5, but it won’t be pretty.
Here are a few spoilers of things that will happen in Season 6, and fans really need to watch for them.
- Negan is coming, like it or not. Fans have been asking for it and wondering if it would happen, but the comic book villain will (apparently) arrive in the spring finale for Season 6. Showrunner Scott M. Gimple would never “confirm nor deny” that Negan is coming, but it sure seems like he’s on the way.
- Alexandria is going to be threatened time and time again this season, even though it is seen as a safe haven.
- Fans will learn that Michonne and Eugene are actually much funnier than originally thought.
- The opening sequence of Season 6 of The Walking Dead will recall both visually and tonally on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. You’ve simply got to watch it to get it.
The Walking Dead is a series that has drawn forth so much anxiety and anticipation, and one that fans can’t stop looking forward to. Season 6 already has a number of spoilers out there, but so much more is going to happen than what’s even out there so far, and that merely means you have to watch.
