Atz Lee Kilcher Of ‘Alaska: The Last Frontier’ Gives A Health Update To Fans

Ever since Atz Lee Kilcher was injured, fans of Alaska: The Last Frontier have been worried about him. Without new episodes, everyone had to rely on social media to get updates on his condition. Jane Kilcher went to her Facebook page back in August when it happened to share a press release on how Atz Lee Kilcher was injured and what exactly happened. The first reports to come out didn’t reveal everything about what happened to him.

Jane’s original press release shared the details of his fall. This shared all of the details of Atz Lee Kilcher’s fall straight from the family, which is the best source for this information.

“Our press release regarding Atz Lee’s accident: Atz Lee Kilcher, an experienced hiker, suffered a terrible fall when hiking in Otter Cove. His injuries included a broken arm, a broken shoulder, broken ankle, a broken hip, crushed ribs and two punctured lungs. He was hiking with a friend, who fell as well but sustained more minor injuries. It will be a challenging and long road to recovery for Atz Lee and the family appreciates everyone’s good thoughts at this challenging time.”

Later, Jane Kilcher went on Facebook to explain that she has never seen anyone with as many broken bones as Atz Lee Kilcher had from this fall. He ended up with 25 broken bones and had to have four surgeries to make it through it all.

Now Atz Lee is heading to his Instagram page to share an update with fans. They have been waiting to hear what happened to him and how Atz Lee is handling things since his tough fall.

“Lucky to have a family and a place worth fighting for. I can’t wait to get back out to the back country on my own two legs. It seems so far right now but every day I get a little stronger and a lot more motivated. Can’t keep a homesteader down!”

It does look like Atz Lee Kilcher is still recovering, and life is not back to normal for him yet. It may take a while before Kilcher can do the work that he used to do. Being a homesteader is hard work, and even though Kilcher loves his job, he has to make sure that he is feeling better before he gets out there again. If Atz Lee Kilcher takes on too much work too soon, he could end up hurting himself even more, which would not be a good thing at all. The preview shows that viewers will get to see Atz Lee Kilcher in the hospital, and they will share about what happened to him.

Four weeks ago, Atz Lee shared that he was at home with his family while he is healing. Kilcher said that his broken bones were healing nicely, even though he broke so many of them. His lungs were getting stronger, too, which, of course, is amazing news for Kilcher. Hopefully, he will continue to give fans updates and soon Atz Lee Kilcher will be back to his normal life.
