Elton John Wants A Second Child
Little Zachary Furnish-John may soon be getting a little brother or little sister. Singer Elton John revealed this week that he and longtime partner David Furnish are hoping to add another child to their brood.
Elton tells The Guardian that he clearly remembers what he didn’t like about being an only child. According to John:
“I spent it in my room, listening to music if my parents were [arguing].”
Elton admits it must be even harder being the only child of famous person:
“I think it’s difficult to be an only child, and to be an only child of someone famous.”
The famed singer also admits that having two dads will likely cause some tensions at school and having a sibling to lean on could alleviate those tensions, Elton says of that situation:
“I know when he goes to school there’s going to be an awful lot of pressure, and I know he’s going to have people saying, ‘You don’t have a mummy. It’s going to happen. We talked about it before we had him. I want someone to be at his side and back him up. We shall see.”
Elton says of his son “he is so straight” and has been caught kissing the housekeeper’s daughter and playing football.
In the meantime little Zachary Furnish-John is not hurting for support, after his birth fans sent nine strollers to his parents, all of which were sent to charity since Elton John and David Furnish already had the baby items they needed.
