‘Dateline NBC’: Bill Cosby’s Accusers And Kidnapping Case Of Denise Huskins To Air In 2-Hour Special On Friday
Dateline NBC will feature the Denise Huskins kidnapping story and an interview with Bill Cosby’s accusers in a two-hour special on Friday. Dateline NBC usually airs one important topic every week. According to Dateline‘s Facebook page, the Denise Huskins–Aaron Quinn ‘Gone Girl‘ kidnapping case will be discussed during the first hour, followed by an interview with a panel of Bill Cosby’s accusers. Inquisitr brought you Denise Huskins’ story back in July when ABC 20/20 profiled the case.
The story became a nationwide sensation after Matthew Mueller kidnapped Denise Huskins and her boyfriend, Aaron Quinn. Mueller was a former Harvard student and a Marine who lived in California who was accused of breaking into the couple’s home, where he attacked and drugged them. Denise Huskins was able to make her way back home and alert police. The abduction was heavily criticized in the media because the public did not believe that the kidnapping really happened — and the local police didn’t believe her, either. The case was dubbed ‘Gone Girl‘ after the movie, starring Ben Affleck.During Dateline NBC‘s second hour, the Bill Cosby sex and drugs scandal will be discussed by several women who have accused Bill Cosby of forcing himself on them. The countless allegations against Bill Cosby began in 2014, when a slew of women came forward with the shocking allegations. In late 2014, Inquisitr brought you the story of Linda Joy Traitz, a former acquaintance of Bill Cosby who met him in a restaurant where she worked. She said that after speaking with Bill Cosby, she accepted a ride home from him but the night took a turn in a different direction when he didn’t take her home.
According to Traitz, it was then that Cosby attempted to drug her in order to have sex with her. Linda Traitz came under fire from critics who pulled up her arrest records to discredit her statements against Cosby. Luisa Moritz is another woman who came forward last year, stating that Bill Cosby forced his penis into her mouth when she was in her twenties while working as an actress at NBC Studios. Luisa is now 69 years old. Though the allegations against America’s former favorite dad have gone public, rumors of his alternative lifestyle have been rumored in Hollywood for years.
Bill Cosby’s team of attorneys have tried to find unfavorable information about the accusers to use against them in the event that this goes to trial. As Inquisitr reported, actress Michelle Hurd became so angry with the way the women were being treated for coming forward with their stories that she decided to come forward with her own. She related the following story, according to CBS News.“I did stand-in work on The Cosby show back in the day and YES, Bill Cosby was VERY inappropriate with me. It started innocently, lunch in his dressing room, daily, then onto weird acting exercises were he would move his hands up and down my body, (can’t believe I fell for that) I was instructed to NEVER tell anyone what we did together, (he said other actors would become jealous) and then fortunately, I dodged the ultimate bullet with him when he asked me to come to his house, take a shower so we could blow dry my hair and see what it looked like straightened. At that point my own red flags went off and I told him, ‘No, I’ll just come to work tomorrow with my hair straightened.’ I then started to take notice and found another actress, a stand-in as well, and we started talking… A LOT… turns out he was doing the same thing to her. she awoke, after being drugged, vomited, and then Cosby told her ‘there’s a cab waiting for you outside.’
