‘Teen Mom 2’: Adam Lind Bashes Chelsea Houska, Talks Big Life Changes
Teen Mom 2 star Adam Lind has been known as the bad boy of the MTV reality series, but he claims he’s trying to clean up his act. During the reunion show, which airs Wednesday at 9 p.m., Adam says that he knows he could have been a better father in the past, but that things are different now. However, he slams his ex-girlfriend Chelsea Houska, the mother of his oldest daughter, Aubree, for always reminding him of everything he’s done wrong.
Adam Lind tells Dr. Drew that he’s working on himself by getting his life together, and tells Dr. Drew that Chelsea’s negativity doesn’t help. When Houska reminds him that he missed spending Father’s Day with Aubree he gets angry at his ex, but tries to keep his cool, knowing that fans are always ready to bash him at anytime.
“I went away for a trip. I needed to get away. What’s the point of arguing all the time? The worst thing to do to a man who is trying to get better is to remind him of his past.”
Meanwhile, Adam reveals that he’s doing much better than he was before, telling the Examiner that he’s got his driver’s license back, has a steady job, and a 5 bedroom home for himself and his daughters, Aubree and Paislee.
“I sat eight months in jail for my DUIs, paid all my fines, followed the law and stayed out of trouble. I was let off early for good behavior. I’ve made a lot of mistakes I know I can’t take back and can only take responsibility for them and own up to them. Now I’m just trying to make a better life for myself and my kids.”
The Teen Mom 2 dad says he is also in a good relationship with a girl and that he’s trying to better his image.
“I have an amazing girlfriend named Stasia. No drama, nothing crazy. No problems with her and Taylor and Chelsea. She works full-time at Sanford, big into the gym like me. She’s going back to school. I’m staying focused on the gym, anything negative or bad comments on my social media are removed and deleted. I don’t have to prove anything to anyone who doesn’t really know me. I have been doing a lot of photo shoots and positive publicity to better my image.”
It really does sound like Adam Lind is trying to be a better person and father for his daughters. The reality star, who claims he doesn’t like filming the show, but does enjoy the money it brings in, says that he has future plans to start his own line of supplements and to eventually own his own gym. He’s even “looking into publishing an autobiography” about his life and how he’s changed.
Teen Mom 2 fans really are hoping that Adam Lind will stay on this positive path he claims to have embarked on, and that he can be there for both of his daughters as viewers of the show have already seen Aubree begin to question her father’s decision such has having multiple girlfriends, spending time in jail, and not being around when he’s supposed to have her for the weekend.
Aubree’s mother, Chelsea Houska, has changed a lot over the years as well. She graduated from beauty school, got a job she loves, bought her own house, and has entered into a serious relationship with her boyfriend, Cole DeBoer, who currently lives with Chelsea, and Aubree and is a big part of their family life. Perhaps little Aubree will get the life Chelsea always wanted for her after all.
