Vicki Gunvalson ‘Somewhat Disappointed’ Over Brooks Ayers’ ‘RHOC’ Reunion Interview, Bravo Producer Believes Brooks Is Lying

Viewers will indeed see Brooks Ayers on the upcoming The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10 reunion show. Unfortunately for viewers hoping to see Brooks go head-to-head with the housewives, especially Meghan King Edmonds, on the couch, they won’t be. On his Sirius XM radio show Andy Cohen Live on Monday, Andy confirmed that he separately taped an interview with Brooks prior to his filming with the housewives last Thursday. Some of the interview will be played at the reunion.

On Monday, Andy talked about his interview with Brooks with Bravo producer John Hill. The official Twitter handle for Andy’s radio show tweeted a snippet of Andy’s conversation with Jon.

Andy interviewed Brooks for about an hour. Not surprisingly, the interview was focused on all the drama, questions, and speculation that has surrounded Brooks’ cancer diagnosis this past season on Real Housewives. After Vicki Gunvalson, who was dating Brooks at the time of filming, and Brooks told the other housewives that Brooks’ cancer had returned, some of the housewives began questioning the cancer claim. Newcomer Meghan King Edmonds in particular doubted, and still doubts, that Brooks really has cancer. In an attempt to get to the truth, Meghan has gone so far as calling medical offices and Brooks’ ex-girlfriend to substantiate Brooks and Vicki’s claim.

Despite Brooks and Vicki’s repeatedly maintaining that he really does have cancer and showing Tamra Judge the result of a PET/CT scan, the housewives’ questions and suspicions have only grown. As shown on Monday night’s The Real Housewives of Orange County episode, even Shannon Beador, who previously defended Vicki, has started wondering if Brooks and Vicki are lying.

One person who seems to believe that Brooks Ayers is lying about having cancer, particularly after watching his entire interview with Andy Cohen, is Bravo producer John Hill. During their radio segment together on Monday, John said that he wouldn’t be surprised if Brooks’ cancer diagnosis is fake.

“I watched that entire thing and I was riveted…I think, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s fake, if it’s not true. I don’t think that if something is true, he wouldn’t be defending it like he is.”

As for why he thinks Brooks is probably lying, John said that Brooks went into such detail about everything and had an explanation for everything, telltale signs of a lie.

“He is so specific about the cancer. He has a detail for every single thing.”

As for the reunion show, which filmed from 11 in the morning to about 9 at night last Thursday, Andy revealed that viewers will see tears but not much screaming.

“I always say, ‘Oh it was very dramatic.’ What I liked about this reunion was there are a lot of revelations. It was the most adult Orange County reunion that we’ve had in a few years…meaning there was not a ton of screaming. There were emotions; there were tears….What I loved was there were a lot of revelations; there were things revealed that were very surprising from almost everybody. So that was great.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, after filming her tenth reunion show, Vicki Gunvalson described it as “shocking.” Vicki may have very well been shocked by what Brooks told Andy. As recapped by Reality Tea, during a Periscope session on Sunday, Vicki admitted that she’s “somewhat disappointed” that Brooks did an interview with Andy for the reunion.

Brooks Ayers’ decision to do an interview with Andy Cohen for The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10 reunion show and what he told him during it seems to have put the final nail in the coffin when it comes to his relationship with Vicki Gunvalson. Vicki, who reiterated that Brooks does have cancer, said she’ll never get back with him.

“I’m done with Brooks. 100 percent. I’ll never, ever be back with Brooks.”
