Vicki Gunvalson Torn By Brooks Ayers Cancer & Meghan Edmonds RHOC Fight: Heather Dubrow On Real Housewives Reunion
Vicki Gunvalson soared to fame as the irrepressible star in Real Housewives Of Orange County (RHOC). But in the past season, Vicki’s laughter and wit have been replaced by anger and bewilderment, as Gunvalson and ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers found themselves battling the claims from other RHOC stars including Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Meghan King Edmonds, and Shannon Beador that Vicki’s boyfriend has cancer.
And now, with the filming of the Real Housewives Of Orange County reunion behind her, Vicki is turning to religion, based on Gunvalson’s recent social media posts, reported StarPulse.
Although the RHOC cast revealed only that it was a lengthy process to film the reunion, Vicki may have experienced the backlash that many predicted she would from the Brooks brouhaha.
“Don’t allow negative comments to hold you back. You’re not who people say you are—you’re who God says you are,” tweeted Gunvalsonin in quoting Joel Osteen following the reunion filming.
Vicki’s fans appreciated her quote.
“I really like this. Thank you for sharing!” posted one follower.
Gunvalson has friends on social media, but can she feel confident in those former friends among the Real Housewives Of Orange County cast? Vicki and Shannon Beador don’t talk, and Gunvalson’s fans on social media debated whether the popular reality TV star should forgive and forget or hold a grudge.
“Forgiveness is a great thing but don’t think I could ever forgive or forget how these women have behaved this season!!” argued one Team Vicki debater.
But another argued against Gunvalson.
“you need 2 look within ask urself why u pick such loser men. Even ur friends dump on u Ur better then the people u choose 2 love,” wrote that Team RHOC Cast.
So what does Brooks have to say for himself in the does-he-or-doesn’t-he-have-cancer debate? Ayers recently discussed his break-up with Vicki as well as his legal fight with Meghan Edmonds, reported Perez Hilton.
“I’ve talked to her once in the last couple of weeks. We’ve emailed and texted on occasion,” said Brooks.
Ayers said that although it didn’t work out between the two, he wishes Vicki all the best. And Brooks hopes that the RHOC cast moves on from the debate over his cancer diagnosis claims.
“Today at the reunion will be the last time Vicki has got to deal with it in front of the ladies. They’ll move on to next season, and they can pick on somebody else, and manufacture some drama.”
As for his legal battle with Meghan, Brooks revealed that he sent her a letter from his lawyer.
“[That letter demands] certain things, and I do have significant grounds if she doesn’t change her ways and she’s got an opportunity to do that. This is defamation. I’m hitting back. She has a chance to make it right and we’ll see if she does or not,” said Ayers.
As the Inquistr reported, the RHOC reunion seating chart was released by Bravo, and it gives us a hint as to who might turn to whom in a face-to-face confrontation.
Vicki summed up the reunion as “shocking,” while the other RHOC cast members were apparently sworn to secrecy about who said what. Shannon shared that she got ready with a make-me-beautiful facial, followed by a fierce workout before facing the reunion.
As for Heather Dubrow, she wants answers, and believes the reunion is the place to get them, reported Bravo’s Daily Dish.
“I think what we all want is some answers. We want to know what the heck is going on for good. Let’s just flesh it out so we never have to talk about it again. I guess, you know, the Brooks thing — it’s no one’s business but you will see in the final episodes — and at the reunion — that some of us were pulled into this story. Especially me, in general, I got pulled into this by Brooks and now I am in.”
But the question remains: Does Brooks have cancer? Did he and Gunvalson tell the truth? Or were Meghan, Heather, Tamra, and Shannon right in doubting them? What do you think? Post your comments below.
