Amber Marchese On Brooks Ayers’ Cancer: Is She Skeptical Of His Story?
Amber Marchese hasn’t really weighed in on Brooks Ayers’ cancer story on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Amber is the only official housewife in the franchise that is currently battling cancer, so it is surprising that no one has asked Marchese about his story. Of course, Amber is doing everything possible to stay healthy herself, including working out, eating healthy, and keeping the partying to a minimum. Brooks appears to be doing the opposite.
Amber Marchese is currently trying to get better herself. Back in April, she discovered a lump and she was tested for cancer. Amber’s cancer has returned after almost six years. While it was an emotional piece of news to get, she has been the prime example of how to handle oneself. Amber has been focusing on her health and spending lots of time with her family.
According to a new Bravo report, Amber Marchese is now revealing how she really feels about the cancer drama. Of course, Marchese doesn’t know more than viewers, and it is possible that she has been watching the show.
“I don’t know enough about Brooks’s case if there is one,” Amber Marchese revealed in an interview with Real Mr. Housewife, adding, “But I think when it comes to an illness, it’s very risky and dangerous to accuse someone that they’re lying and we should give him personal space either way and let him deal with any illness that he may have.”
Amber Marchese could be hinting at Meghan King Edmonds, who has been questioning Brooks’ health since the psychic called the diagnosis wishy washy. Even though Marchese doesn’t exactly take a stance on the entire cancer thing, she does reveal that she knows what he is going through.
“I know what it feels like first hand to be told that I’m using it as a card,” Amber revealed, adding, “It does not feel good because it’s a very real circumstance. If it’s not real and he is using this as a way of getting attention or being in the papers, then shame on him and he needs to get other type of help, like mental health help. If it is true, I think people need to back off and pray that they never are sitting in that position and having cancer and dealing with something as detrimental as cancer.”
But Marchese didn’t question the medical records as the other ladies did, even though there were spelling mistakes throughout. Instead, Marchese pointed out that he had a long and tough road ahead of him and believed that he would be fine with the proper treatment.
But Amber didn’t say anything about Brooks’ fight with Meghan King Edmonds. Marchese has been on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, so she knows what it takes to be strong and face adversity when it comes to other women. And Marchese didn’t offer advice as to how to handle his situation. Ayers recently revealed that he had taken some form of legal action against Meghan by filing a cease and desist letter.
“Meghan has scoffed that ‘Oh my God, Brooks is threatening to sue me.’ But what people don’t know is I have sent her a formal letter from my attorney…demanding certain things, and I do have significant grounds if she doesn’t change her ways and she’s got an opportunity to do that,” Brooks recently revealed to Us Weekly, adding, “[This is] defamation. I’m hitting back. She has a chance to make it right and we’ll see if she does or not.”
What do you think of Amber Marchese’s comments? Do you think she truly believes his cancer story, or do you think she wants to stay neutral?
