WWE Rumors: Top Rumors For Matches At ‘Hell In A Cell’ — Only One Match Confirmed

Hell in a Cell is WWE’s next big pay-per-view that is a mere two-and-a-half weeks away. So far, only one match has been officially announced and confirmed for the card. The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar will have their rubber match, but this time it will be inside the demonic structure known as Hell in a Cell. The card needs to be filled up and a number of matches are rumored, but one name is noticeably absent and without direction right now.

This match is happening, and it is officially going to bring an end to the feud that has gone on for around a year and a half. WWE has this one penciled in, and you can pretty much be certain that it will be the main event.

Two other matches are virtually locked in place without being officially announced yet. On SmackDown tonight, WWE will confirm that Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns will face off in the demonic cell, according to spoilers posted by WrestleZone.

In some ways, this feud has been going on for months now, and it involved the other members of the Wyatt Family as well as Dean Ambrose, Chris Jericho, and Randy Orton. This leads to another rumored match that could pit Ambrose and Orton against Luke Harper and Braun Strowman.

On Monday Night Raw, Ambrose and Reigns were helped by Orton against the Wyatts. Ambrose isn’t too fond of working with anyone after the issue with Jericho at Night of Champions, and this could lead to a heel turn and future Ambrose/Orton feud.

The other match that is virtually a lock is Seth Rollins defending the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Kane in his “Demon” form. This has been building for a while now, and all that’s needed now is for WWE to announce it and make a graphic for it.

One name that is noticeably absent is that of United States champion John Cena. He’s currently without a program of any kind, and it isn’t exactly known who he will feud with next. Cageside Seats thinks Cena will feud with Dolph Ziggler thanks to the events on the season finale of Total Divas, but that seems unlikely.

On top of that, WWE has begun teasing Ziggler being involved in a four-way feud for the Intercontinental Title with Kevin Owens, Rusev, and Ryback. This could end up being nothing, but the events of this past Monday Night Raw are hard to ignore.

Where does this leave John Cena? It remains to be seen if he will even get a match at Hell in a Cell.

The New Day and Dudley Boyz are still involved with one another and the whole “Get The Tables/Save The Tables” thing makes it appear a stipulation will be added. A triple threat for the Divas Title also appears to be on the way for the PPV too.
