Bill Cosby Has Three New Accusers – Attorney Introduces Victims Who Recount Their Bizarre Ordeal
Three new Bill Cosby accusers were convinced to step forward and recount their ordeal. Through an emotionally charged press conference, these women recollected the bizarre acts of sexual abuse they allegedly suffered at the hands of Bill Cosby.
Three more women stepped forward Wednesday to narrate their accounts of sexual assault by veteran comedian and television star Bill Cosby. Though coming from varied backgrounds, all the women levied sexual assault allegations against the man who has been accused by more than three dozen women so far. Among the three new Bill Cosby accusers is a former Mrs. America, a former cocktail server at a jazz club, and a woman who wanted Cosby to help her appear in Playboy magazine.
Attorney Gloria Allred introduced the new three accusers during a press conference at her Los Angeles office. She identified the women as Pamela Abeyta, Sharon Van Ert, and Lisa Christie. During the press conference, each narrated the sordid events that unfolded after meeting with Bill Cosby, reported Los Angeles Times.
Lisa Christie claimed Bill Cosby promised her an audition for his 1990 flick Ghost Dad and lured her to a Chicago hotel room. As she had met Cosby a few years earlier through New York modeling agent Sue Charney and idolized him, she unsuspectingly followed him. Christie added that she was a virgin and was quite taken aback when Cosby tried to kiss her “like a boyfriend.” Not the one to hear a rejection, when Christie tried to push him away, Cosby warned her and boasted,
“I’ll give you the biggest orgasm you’ve ever had. You’re never going to make it in this business unless you sleep with me.”
Now 44 years old, Christie added that she was one of the lucky few who managed to escape a near certain sexual assault by Bill Cosby. An author, fitness coach, and devout Christian, she says she did mention the incident in a book she released earlier this year, America The Windstorm, but did not mention Cosby as the assailant, reported New York Daily News.
“With Mr. Cosby, I was one of the fortunate ones to escape. Now I am here to support all of his victims.”
Second Cosby accuser to step forward was 61-year-old Pamela Abeyta. She says she was just 25 when she had met Bill Cosby. The duo met in Las Vegas at the behest of a common contact as Abeyta wanted to discuss the possibility of becoming a “Playboy Bunny” for Playboy. Interestingly, Cosby was quite the gentleman before the alleged sexual assault, recollected Abeyta.
“Cosby bought me a gown, shoes and clutch bag valued at $2,500 for a dinner show. I remember eating and drinking at the show — and later blacking out.”
“I believe that someone put something in my drink. I don’t remember leaving the dinner show. When I came to, I was lying in Bill Cosby’s bed, not my own room. When I came to again, I saw two other naked people in the room by my bed. I eventually woke up in my room and returned home in a fog.”
Verbally narrating what many of the Bill Cosby accusers must have been feeling, she added,
“I kept this to myself for so long because I believed that it was my fault for putting myself in that position.”
The third accuser, Sharon Van Ert, met Cosby in the late 1970s, when she was waitressing at a jazz club on the Redondo Beach Pier. She said Bill Cosby offered to walk with her to her car after she had had a few drinks,
“I was feeling giddy and excited and happy. Mr. Cosby was very nice, and of course I didn’t suspect anything.”
Upon entering the car, she alleged that Bill Cosby attacked her and later when she woke, she knew had been drugged.
Bill Cosby, once a globally loved comedian, has been accused by over three dozen women who claim he sexually assaulted them. If these women weren’t being compliant, he allegedly used powerful sedatives like Quaaludes on them. With three more Cosby accusers surfacing, who knows how many more are waiting.
