Chuck Norris, Mike Huckabee Are Still BFFs, Actor Shows Presidential Nominee ‘Epic Gun Collection’
Mike Huckabee might be struggling in the polls, but the Republican presidential nominee is leading in the celebrity endorsements category after he secured the support of none other than Chuck Norris for his campaign.
In fact, Mike Huckabee and his wife even spent Sunday with Chuck Norris on his ranch. This is just the latest activity that the pair have actually done together, and it confirms that the Arkansas governor and the martial arts icon are BFFs.
Gov. Mike Huckabee took to his official Twitter account on Sunday to share an image of him riding on the back of a golf cart with Norris while they enjoyed a little getaway together.

Chuck Norris also decided to show the world that he had been spent the day with Mike Huckabee, taking to his Facebook page to upload an image that featured 16 people, but had Mike Huckabee and his wife Janet front and centre.
Norris captioned the above image with, “We spent the day at our ranch with family & friends, including Governor Mike Huckabee & his wife Janet. Thanks for a great time y’all. God bless, Chuck & Gena Norris.”
But he wasn’t done there because Norris, who has over 5.4 million Facebook pals, decided to upload another picture from their soiree, which once again featured Mike and Janet Huckabee prominently.
The above picture, which has been slightly edited (you can check out the full original here), was joined by the caption, “Here’s a few more of our close friends who joined us at the ranch on Sunday along with Mike & Janet Huckabee. God bless, Chuck & Gena Norris.”
Hogan Gidley, who is Mike Huckabee’s spokesman, admitted to ABC News that the Walker, Texas Ranger actor did indeed have the politician over to his abode. They were joined by a hoard of supporters for the Huckabee campaign, each of whom had raised significant money for his 2016 presidential bid.
During their trip to the Norris household, Mike and Janet Huckabee were given a tour of the actor’s “extensive library, fighting trophies, movie awards [and] an epic gun collection, along with various other pieces of memorabilia.”
Mike Huckabee and Chuck Norris are such close friends as they share many of the same beliefs and values. Not only are they both devout Christians, but they are also social conservatives.
In fact, Chuck Norris actually endorsed Mike Huckabee for president back in 2008. This saw Chuck Norris create a one-minute-long advertisement that formally endorsed Huckabee and was officially “Chuck Norris Approved.”
In this piece, Norris declared, “Mike Huckabee is a life-long hunter, who will protect our Second Amendment rights.”
He even went on to add, “Mike Huckabee wants to put the IRS out of business.”
And back in May, on the day that Mike Huckabee announced he was once again running to become President of the United States, Chuck Norris immediately threw his support behind him.
Almost immediately after Huckabee made his announcement, Chuck Norris spoke to the New York Times and explained, “I still believe Mike Huckabee is the most qualified. He has the moral clarity and experience to lead our great country forward.”
Huckabee himself has also used Norris’ cult popularity to try and connect with voters, as he has previously said of his famous friend, via the Washington Examiner, “Chuck Norris doesn’t endorse. He tells America how it’s going to be.”
Unfortunately for the pair, so far, their work together isn’t proving too fruitful, as Huckabee is currently running far behind the other Republican nominees, in around ninth place.
