WWE Bella Twins Nikki & Brie Lead Twitter Q&A to Promote ‘Total Divas’ Season Finale
From perfect dates and childhood toys to Divas tag titles and the #BellaArmy, the Bella Twins had a Q&A session on Twitter last night. It was meant to promote the E! show Total Divas, a show that has only helped increase the popularity of the Bella Twins.
If you watch Total Divas, you’ve probably heard the Bellas talk about “Insta” more than they do Twitter. Brie Bella’s verified Instagram account (@TheBrieBella) has over 2.5 million followers, while Nikki’s account (@TheNikkiBella) has over 2.7 million. The shared, blue-checked Bella Twins Twitter account (@BellaTwins) has over 1.8 million followers.
In the quick attempt to draw some attention to the season finale, the Bella Twins answered a variety of questions.
As far as wrestling related questions were concerned, Brie Bella said that she’d love a WWE Divas Title reign someday — perhaps even beating her sister’s record. If you watch Total Divas, however, you know she’s thinking more about babies than titles. She is also hopeful for a WWE Divas Tag Team Championship at some point. You’ve got to believe the identical Bella Twins would be a favorite for those belts.

And whether it pertains to their in-ring careers or their ventures elsewhere, they love the Bella Army (#BellaArmy) because of their loyalty. If comments about Daniel Bryan and John Cena count as “wrestling related,” then count their answers on how the Bella Twins would spend a perfect day. Brie Bella would spend the day in bed watching movies with pizza, her husband, and their dog Josie. Nikki would be sipping wine with Cena in Napa Valley while enjoying their favorite foods and turning off their phones.
We also learned that Brie Bella’s favorite childhood toy was a My Little Pony, that Nikki Bella prefers Peyton Manning over Tom Brady, and that Nikki fell in love with John because of his dimples, his smile, and his personality.

The E! reality show isn’t pulling the kind of numbers that it used to, so it’s no surprise that Brie and Nikki Bella tried to promote the season finale of Total Divas, even with something as simple as a Twitter Q&A session. With Nikki’s WWE Divas Championship reign recently ending, and Brie Bella essentially playing Nikki’s sidekick on Raw, the Bella Twins may be looking to boost the ratings to increase their own exposure.

As reported by 411 Mania, last week’s episode had a decrease in viewership but an increase in the ratings. With all of WWE television struggling lately, the Bella Twins are going to want to end the season on a good note. For their part, the finale ended in the middle of Dolph Ziggler trying to kiss Nikki Bella. Cena’s refusal to get married or have children, Ziggler’s willingness to do so, and Nikki’s desire for both were a major part of the show. Brie Bella mostly brought to Nikki’s attention that it felt awkward to see her flirting with Dolph.
WWE has been placing an emphasis on the “Divas Revolution” happening in their women’s division, and the Bella Twins play a critical role. As veterans of nearly a decade, they (along with Alicia Fox as Team Bella) represent the survivors of the initial Divas Era. The Divas Revolution has brought fresh young talent looking to take the more seasoned Divas’ place, and the Bella Twins, especially Nikki, are the face of what is being revolted against.
