No: Justin Bieber Didn’t Touch Playboy Model, Not Thrown Out Of Mansion Party
Justin Bieber is no stranger to being targeted in bogus stories. The latest comes by way of Playboy bunny Sarah Harris.
During a radio interview earlier this week, Harris alleged that the Canadian singer groped her “boob” at a Playboy Mansion Midsummer Night’s Dream party in August and claimed she gave him a “backhand” in return.
However, media watchdog Gossip Cop reports the outlandish incident “never happened.” Citing a source close to Justin Bieber, the insider said of Sarah Harris’ claims, “It’s fake and never happened,” adding that the “What Do You Mean?” singer “wasn’t even at the party.”
To clarify, Bieber reportedly wasn’t at Playboy’s Midsummer Night’s Dream bash and did not touch Harris inappropriately.
In addition, Hollywood Life corrected its repeat of the false claim, and says Playboy have denied receiving any report of Bieber and Harris having any issue. Playboy’s publicity director, Teri Thomerson, told the blog the following.
“Playboy is not aware of, nor did we receive any reports/complaints regarding this incident,” then adding, “Justin Bieber was not thrown out of the Midsummer Night’s Dream Party.”
While it’s strange that Playboy didn’t echo Gossip Cop’s statement that Bieber wasn’t at the party — either way — Harris’ allegation about “boob” groping by Bieber has been debunked.
Harris made her fictional claims in an interview with Australian radio show The Edge 96.ONE’s Mike E & Emma on Monday, during which she alleged, “He grabbed my boob” at the party. She also told hosts, “It was my instant reaction to just backhand him across the face.” After which, Harris claimed Bieber “kind of freaked out and didn’t even say anything” before leaving the event.
Bearing in mind that it is now widely known that Harris’ claims were fake, it is even more astonishing that she described the Biebs as “invasive” and alleged he returned to the Playboy Mansion three days later to apologize.
Meanwhile, in other Bieber news, the heartthrob has been in Sydney, Australia, for the past four days to promote his new worldwide smash single “What Do You Mean?” which is No.1 down under.
The singer wowed fans in Melbourne at an iHeartradio-hosted acoustic gig at the World Famous Rooftop on Monday, one day after posting a Snapchat video pleading for the city’s fans to treat him with respect.
On Tuesday, the Biebs performed the single on The X Factor, and will shortly perform on Sydney Harbour at the last of his gigs in the country. He has also given a fair few interviews.
During one, Justin said that EDM titan Skrillex, who is producing much of the singer’s next LP, worked on eight or nine songs on his upcoming album.
While Bieber has been on the promo trail, his cover story in the new issue of Complex magazine rolled out. It’s a fascinating read. View it here.
