Kim Zolciak Blasts Wendy Williams For Suggesting She Faked Her Mini-Stroke To Get Out Of ‘DWTS’

Kim Zolciak has lashed back at TV host Wendy Williams for suggesting that she faked her mini-stroke in order to get out of doing Dancing with the Stars. On Monday morning, Kim posted a lengthy Instagram message in which she called what Wendy said on her show “absolutely appalling.” Kim said that it’s “disgusting” that Wendy to insinuate that she faked her mini-stroke. Kim added that Wendy is just mad that she declined to participate in her show and that Wendy insinuating that she faked her mini-stroke just shows her “warped mentality.”

“Absolutely appalling!! @wendywilliams how disgusting for you to insinuate I ‘faked’ my mini stroke on your show this morning!! You mad cause I didn’t come on your show! This clearly shows your warped mentality!!”

Kim attached to her Instagram message a snapshot of an e-mail that was sent to Kim’s representative, Mike, from The Wendy Williams Show. The e-mail, sent Friday, asks Mike whether Kim would like to call in during Monday’s show, during the “Hot Topics” segment, for a Skype chat to discuss what happened to her.

During her “Hot Topics” segment, Wendy said that she hopes Kim didn’t fake her mini-stroke in order to get out of the dance competition. Wendy herself competed on the show’s 12th season with Tony Dovolani, Kim’s current partner. Wendy and Tony were eliminated on the second week.

The Twitter account for Wendy Williams’ show posted a tweet that asked people whether they think Kim should quit the dance competition.

Kim also lashed out at a blogger Naughty But Nice Rob, who posted an article asking whether Kim faked her mini-stroke. Kim asked the blogger if he’s “f**kin serious” and called him “disgusting.”

Through an Instagram post, Kim revealed that on Wednesday, when she returned home from performing on Dancing with the Stars, she suffered a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack), also known as a mini-stroke. She wrote that the left side of her body went completely numb and she lost her speech. She credited her husband, her daughter, her daughter’s boyfriend, and a friend for their quick reactions in getting her help. She added that she has regained all of her feeling back. She accompanied the post with a photo of herself lying on a hospital bed with a hospital gown on and monitors attached to her chest.

One person who was by Kim’s side during her hospital stay is her Dancing with the Stars pro partner Tony Dovolani. In another Instagram post, Kim praised Tony for being by her side and keeping her smiling for two days. Not only did Tony keep her company in the hospital, he also brought Kim her favorite coffee. The accompanying photo shows a casually dressed Tony smiling at the camera.

It remains to be seen whether Kim Zolciak and Tony Dovolani will be performing on Monday night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars. So far, neither Kim nor Tony have indicated whether they have even been able to rehearse a new dance. On Monday morning, Kim tweeted about how proud she is of her toddler son going to the toilet, indicating that she’s still home in Atlanta.

In a statement to E! News on Sunday, Kim Zolciak said that she was finally back at home in Atlanta, resting with her family, after undergoing several procedures in the hospital. She thanked everyone for their support. As for her future with the dance competition, Kim only said that she loves dancing and hopes that it’s not the end of her dancing days.

“I can’t express enough how much I love dancing and this whole experience, and I hope this will not be the end of dancing.”
