Mortal Fate Of Star Wars’ Han Solo Determined Months Before ‘The Force Awakens’ Hit The Screens [RUMORS]
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is hitting the big screen in a few months, and the rumour about Han Solo’s mortal fate returns to the radar of several news sites and rumor websites lurking in the darkest sides of the internet.
Major spoilers abound, so tread carefully.
Star Wars 7 News first touched on the rumor about Han Solo’s terrible fate back in 2014, where an anonymous source tipped that Luke Skywalker, as first speculated, will not die — it’s Han Solo who will receive that terrible fate in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The anonymous source writes as follows.
“There is a fight at the end. Luke wants to kill Driver and Han steps in. Luke then kills Han which brings Luke back to his sanity. Han with his dying words begs Luke to let Driver live, to trust him that everything will be alright and the he won’t succumb to the Dark Side. Luke trust Han and does not kill Driver – which will be a big mistake as we will see in Star Wars Episodes VIII and IX.”
To set the rumor on fire, Metro UK reports this week that several more news sources talks about Han Solo’s fate in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, mentioning the Mail‘s Girl About Town column, which reads as follows.
“Movie moles tell me the Space Cowboy will sadly be no more come the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
So, months after the Star Wars rumor started circulating, another newspaper column sets it on fire. Who would be clumsy enough to spill some beans about the much-awaited seventh installment of Star Wars on a national newspaper? Well, that being said, we are getting a bit worried now.
Making Star Wars, a Star Wars fan website, also details a couple of hints that might point to Han Solo’s death in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The article at Making Star Wars was written by the site’s editor-in-chief (which means credibility, presumably), detailing the general events of the final act of Star Wars: The Force Awakens pieced together from different sources. He quotes an Epicstream report that either Han or Chewbacca dies. Making Star Wars, make no mistake, is not an official Star Wars website, but it certainly has great connections and very reliable sources.
A previous Inquisitr report also confirms that Making Star Wars did get their hands on some very reliable documents pointing to a scene in Star Wars: The Force Awakens where Han Solo dies.
“We also have to point out that Making Star Wars reported in the past that they got their hands on documents proving that the scene with Han Solo dying was filmed.”
Disney has refused to comment on the rumors circulating Han Solo’s mortal fate on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, telling Metro UK that they refrain from commenting on plot rumors for any of their films. While this Han-Solo-dies rumor is yet to be confirmed, what’s a little wait anyway?
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is known as Star Wars: Episode VII, and will witness the adventures of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits the U.S. screens on December 18, 2015.
