Nicki Minaj Turns Heads At Givenchy Party In Milan With Two Hair Colors And A Bodysuit

Never one to shy away from loud fashion choices, Nicki Minaj showed off a blonde hairdo and a bodysuit that left little to the imagination.

People were already talking about Nicki Minaj during New York Fashion Week. Now Minaj is making noise during Milan’s Fashion Week as well. At a private Givenchy party, Nicki performed for the guests while sporting her blonde hair (with dark roots showing) that had many comparing Minaj to Barbie. But as People noted, it may not have been Nicki Minaj’s hair that grabbed the most attention on Friday.

Accompanied by artistic director Riccardo Tisci, Nicki wore thigh-high white leather boots and Givenchy fishnet. Whether it was Nicki’s hair that people were excited about, or the sexy outfit that Minaj squeezed into, the world loved it. This is evidenced by the fact that all eight photos of her in that outfit that were posted to the official Nicki Minaj Instagram account have over 300,000 likes. The most popular photo — shown below — is quickly approaching half of a million likes by Nicki’s Insta-followers.

After her performance, Nicki continued to go blonde, but switched the white outfit for nothing but a black Givenchy t-shirt and black boots. The shirt was picked out especially for Minaj by fashion guru Naomi Campbell.

But those weren’t the only two outfits of the night for Nicki, the 32-year-old rapper. When Minaj showed up at the party, she was wearing a frilly white dress and black boots. The wig Nicki had to start the night with looked like a more well-maintained version of the pink hair we saw in the “Hey Mama” video Nicki made with David Guetta.

As Hollywood Life pointed out, Nicki Minaj had gotten us used to seeing her with long, black hair. Covering it up with a pink wig could mean Minaj is reverting to her younger days, when Nicki busted out all sorts of colorful wigs. Or perhaps it was just in recognition of the most recent Nicki Minaj release, The Pinkprint.

Nicki’s blonde hair was the work of celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble. The wig Minaj wore earlier in the night was created by Oscar James.

It was just two weeks ago that the “Super Bass” singer was stirring things up in New York. At America’s biggest fashion event, Nicki showed off her curvaceous figure with a mesh nude and black Alexander Wang dress. In New York, however, Minaj garnered just as much attention for her outfit as she did for teasing a Nicki Minaj/The Weeknd collaboration and poking fun at friend Kanye West.
