Michael Clifford Needs More Friends, Hits Out At One Direction Fans

5 Seconds of Summer star Michael Clifford is not having the best of weeks. Earlier this week, as reported in Inquisitr, Michael had a car accident when he collided with another car. Just to add insult to injury, Clifford had received his learner’s permit just three days earlier, and the accident happened during his first lesson with his instructor. Michael and his band-mates are currently chilling out in Los Angeles, recovering from almost six-months on the road. Clifford is currently giving fans a glimpse into his own musical tastes as he revealed the music he is listening to and the bands he wants to watch.

Last week, it was reported in Inquisitr that Michael intended to listen to nothing but Bring Me The Horizon’s newly released album, That’s The Spirit. Last night Clifford headed off to check out the Foo Fighters gig in L.A., and sadly for poor Michael he struggled to find friends to attend the show with him. Michael went on social media to reveal that he wanted to invite friends to the Foo Fighters show but realized that he “only has about 5 friends in total.”

Michael’s lack of friends didn’t hold him back though as he later told his 5.5 million followers that the concert was “amazing.”

After their recent huge arena tour, Michael and the rest of 5 Seconds of Summer are riding on the crest of a wave. The band is being noticed for the right reasons, and their sophomore album, due out October 23, looks like a smash. Clifford admits that the band are feeling the love, but it hasn’t always been this way.

In an interview with Billboard Michael recalls how they were hated on by One Direction fans, who were not happy that a guitar band were opening for their favorites.

Unreality TV reports that Clifford revealed “there were s**tloads of people being like, ‘F**k this band, these guys are all s**t-ugly dips**ts. What are they doing on tour with One Direction, my perfect babies?”

5 Seconds of Summer have come a long way since then, and many are predicting that Sounds Good, Feels Good could even outsell One Direction’s new release, which is due to drop a couple of weeks later.
