‘Big Brother 17’: Audrey Middleton Says Vanessa Rousso ‘Has Gotten Away With Bloody Murder’
It’s been a long while since Audrey Middleton was evicted from Big Brother 17, but the digital media consultant from Georgia made her mark on the game. She will be in Los Angeles for the show’s finale Wednesday night, and spoke with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution en route. Middleton spilled on her fellow houseguests, including her pick to win.
Audrey said she wants Vanessa Rousso to take home the big prize, but for a rather unique reason. While admiring her gameplay, Middleton still remembers how she tried to get the house to turn against Vanessa and how it backfired.
“At this point, Vanessa has gotten away with bloody murder. People can hate the player but they can’t hate the game. You can be mad but nobody else got her.”
“The reason I want her to win is I want everyone else to feel stupid, too. In the beginning, I definitely tried to get everyone on board to target her. Instead, they all turned against me.”
Since Middleton was evicted fourth, she is not part of the Big Brother 17 jury. Although she does not have a vote to cast on finale night, she has had the benefit of being out of sequester. She knows the “secrets” of the Big Brother 17 season, including that Rousso is a professional poker player with multi-million dollar winnings.
Audrey said Rousso’s clothing style and passionate talk about music lent credibility to her story about being a D.J. Rousso herself said in her Big Brother official bio she does in fact D.J., although it is not her primary occupation.
Middleton found lying much more difficult while she was in the Big Brother house. She said it’s not her real-life personality.
As for the America’s Favorite Houseguest vote, Middleton thinks it will be down to John McGuire or James Huling, and her choice is James, whom she said she connected with more.
During the 90-minute season finale of Big Brother 17, Middleton will likely appear on stage with the other non-jury contestants, Jace Agolli, Da’Vonne Rogers, Jeff Weldon, Jason Roy and Clay Honeycutt. Audrey told AJC that she’s seen Jace, Jeff and Clay at Big Brother events since they were ousted from the program.
Clay’s showmance, Shelli Poole, is on the jury and still in sequester. Middleton revealed that Clay seems to have real feelings for Shelli.
The Big Brother 17 season finale gets underway at 9:30pm Wednesday, September 23 on CBS.
