‘AHS: Hotel’ Star Lady Gaga Killed The Red Carpet At The 2015 Emmys, But Where Was Her ‘Chicago Fire’ Fiancé Taylor Kinney?

Lady Gaga, known for her strange and exaggerated outfits, actually managed to pull off a rather respectable look on the red carpet during this year’s 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. Gaga, who is set to play in the upcoming season of American Horror Story: Hotel, appeared graceful and classic in her single shoulder black dress.

According to Us Magazine, the gown is a part of the Brandon Maxwell 2016 collection. Gaga was present at Maxwell’s first showing at New York Fashion Week, and posted a pic on her Instagram account of Maxwell’s reaction to her red carpet walk. The image shows a surprised and excited Maxwell, who is clearly pleased with Gaga’s look.

The Grammy Award-winning singer also wore a pair of diamond earrings to go along with her massive engagement ring that she recently received from Taylor Kinney.

Speaking of Kinney, the actor was not present with Gaga on the red carpet, leaving many wondering why he could not make it to be with her during the Emmys.

Kinney and Gaga have been engaged for a number of months now, and it still is not clear when the two will exchange vows. According to Hollywood Take, the two stars are planning for a rather low key event that will mainly include close family and friends.

Despite the rumors of a private wedding, it is known that Tony Bennett will be there to sing. “They invited me to do it and, of course, I will,” Bennett said in an interview with Page Six. Additionally, Gaga will be taking the last name of Kinney after they officially tie the knot.

Meanwhile, despite his absence from the Emmys, it is clear that Kinney and Gaga share a special bond. “Sometimes I feel like, even with my fiancé, I’ll tell him I feel a certain way, but then he understands me better if I create a song and play it for him,” Gaga explained to CR Fashion Book. “I wrote a song for him the other day and it really sat with him because it was something I couldn’t say with words, only through song.”

With Gaga set to make her debut as an actress on American Horror Story: Hotel, she admitted that having someone like Kinney in her life has definitely helped her along.

“From the moment I met him, my heart was with him… When you’re in love and have love it makes everything better.”
