Kim Richards Reaches Out To Monty Brinson On Instagram: ‘Having You Here Is The Best Gift Of All’

Kim Richards and Monty Brinson may have only been married for three years, but their friendship spans decades, and as Kim Richards celebrated her 51st birthday, Brinson was at her side. On Sunday night, September 20, Kim Richards and her cancer-stricken ex-husband enjoyed a night with family, and posed for a couple of photos, which they later shared on Instagram.

“Having you here Monty is the best gift of all… I love you so much @montybrinson,” Kim Richards wrote on September 21, along with a photo of herself and Brinson, the father of her daughter, Brooke Wiederhorn.

Hours prior, along with a photo of himself, Kim Richards, Kathy Hilton, and her husband, Rick, Brinson wrote, “Last night with loved ones @kimrichards11 @kathyhilton @rickhilton7 celebrating Kim’s Birthday. Evening with laughter and love. Memories to cherish. #love #birthday #rhobh #life #blessed #thankful #friends #family.”

Kim Richards and her ex-husband, who was given just weeks to live several months ago, have been extremely close in recent years, even living together on and off, as fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills saw during Season 5. Then, earlier this year, Kim Richards and Brinson were rumored to be living in the Hilton’s guest house, although that was never confirmed by either party.

While Kim Richards appears to be doing well at the moment, she hasn’t had the best year. In April, the former reality star was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel after becoming intoxicated and disturbing the other patrons. At the time, she was charged with public intoxication, resisting an officer, battery on an officer and trespassing. Then, months later, after a number of stints in rehab centers throughout Los Angeles, Kim Richards was arrested for a second time at a Target store in Van Nuys, California, where she allegedly attempted to steal over $600 worth of items, including children’s toys.

Still, despite her struggles, Kim Richards’ ex-husband has remained at her side, and continues to support her.

On Saturday, he shared the following message for Kim Richards on her birthday.

“It’s been a rough year for you my friend but I’m so proud of you how far you have come through this journey. I see all this brightness and happiness in your life ahead of you. You know in your heart I will always be there for you whether I’m here or some place far away. Besides today being your bday you should treat yourself each day as it was your bday. This world is a better place with you in it.”

Kim Richards also reunited with sister Kyle on her birthday.
