Marshawn Lynch Allegedly Goes Beast Mode On Teen Fan
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is famous for not wanting to talk, but on Saturday his mouth may have got him in some hot water. TMZ is reporting that Lynch allegedly threatened a teen fan. The 13-year-old’s uncle was with him when the boy was looking for an autograph from Lynch and he said Lynch threatened to slap the kid.
“He told my nephew, ‘How would you like it if I slapped that f**king phone out of your hand and that smile off your face.'”
There is camera footage that shows Lynch telling some Wisconsin autograph hounds to back off, but the alleged threat was not caught on camera.
Lynch played against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night and he was held to just 41 yards on 15 carries. The Seahawks lost the game 27-17.
Marshawn has been a busy man this year. It started in early February at the Super Bowl where the Seahawks came up a yard short and the New England Patriots walked away with their fourth title. Many thought that head coach Pete Carroll should have handed the ball to Lynch, who had already gained 102 yards on the ground and scored a touchdown, but instead Russell Wilson tossed the ball and Malcolm Butler made history for the Patriots with his first interception.
In the offseason Lynch could be seen all over television hawking Skittles, getting an aquarium on the Animal Planet show Tanked and poking fun at himself in an XBox ad.
Then just last week his mom, Delisa, went on Facebook and blasted the team’s offensive coordinator, Darrell Bevell, after Marshawn was stopped on a fourth and one play in a Week 1 loss to the St. Louis Rams. The Seattle Times reported that Delisa wants Bevell fired.
“He is the worst play-caller ever the only reason he called that dumb azz play yesterday is to be able to justify the 1 yard that wasn’t called in the superbowl, but most fans already figured this out.were still on a mission but i know the Seahawks staff loves that play caller more than a win.”
Just as that situation was blowing over this new one pops up for Lynch. We will have to wait and see if the NFL steps in and says or does anything about the alleged threat. I’m sure Roger Goodell will launch a full investigation and we should expect to see this Marshawn Lynch episode come to a close in about 10 months.
Do you think the NFL should fine or suspend Marshawn Lynch for going verbal beast mode on a young fan?
