Big Brother 17 spoilers from Monday touch on houseguest popularity. The most popular houseguest from Big Brother 17 will win $25,000 during the season finale, so it’s a big deal which competitor fans like the most. The September 21 report comes from fan site Big Brother Network , which often hosts polls to gauge which houseguest fans are cheering for in a given season. Though the leader in the polls can change through the summer, a leader typically emerges as the season finale approaches.
Early in the BB17 season, Clay Honeycutt was leading the voting. His good looks and easygoing nature may have contributed a lot to that. As the season wore on, James Huling started getting a lot of support, eventually leading the polls. Now, though, it is John McGuire who has taken a firm lead in the “most popular” voting. He seems to now be the odds-on favorite to win what amounts to the “Miss Congeniality” prize for Big Brother .
The latest poll has Johnny Mac drawing 53.3 percent of the vote. He is far ahead of the 31.1 percent for James Huling, even if the poll is a bit unscientific. Previous Big Brother 17 spoilers focusing on these polls have turned out to be correct, though, so the fan site may get it right again. Some of the other houseguests receiving support are Vanessa Rousso at 3.6 percent, Steve Moses at 2.0 percent, and Meg Maley at 1.8 percent. More people are voting for Meg lately, possibly because fans miss having her in the house.
The least popular houseguests this season are Jeff Weldon at 0.08 percent, Jace Agolli at 0.11 percent, and Audrey Middleton at just 0.18 percent. Die-hard fans and family members of those houseguests seem to be the only ones still giving them votes toward this award. The biggest jump from prior polls went to Jason Roy, who surpassed six houseguests in the latest voting. He is only up to 1.7 percent in the poll, though, so he won’t be catching James Huling and John McGuire to win the $25,000 prize.
The season finale of BB17 will air on Wednesday, September 23 at 9:30 p.m. PT/ET. It is there when America’s Favorite Player will be announced, and one of the evicted houseguests will win the $25,000 prize. It’s telling that none of the three remaining houseguests are actually in the running for this prize, but all three still have a good shot at the $500,000 prize for winning this season. Additional Big Brother 17 spoilers have also been reported by the Inquisitr for fans wanting to learn what has transpired over the past few days.
