‘Big Bang Theory’ Penny Wore Pink In Her Marriage To Leonard
Season nine of Big Bang Theory will open with the long-awaited wedding of Penny and Leonard. At their wedding, Penny wore pink as a bride, just like the actress who plays Penny, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, wore at her own recent wedding.
According to the Inquisitr, the couple gets married in Las Vegas, but that doesn’t mean that everything will be peachy with Penny and Leonard going forward. In fact, reaching back to Leonard’s time on board the boat, the relationship will see some rough seas ahead.

Us Weekly is reporting that the new Dr. and Mrs. Hofstadter get married at a little wedding chapel in Vegas. As usual, it is Leonard doing as much of the wedding prep as possible.
“The package that we paid for said that I was supposed to be getting rose petals?” the experimental physicist asks in the chapel as his bride-to-be (Kaley Cuoco) stands next to him in her short, pink wedding dress and white veil. (There was no time to go dress shopping, remember? Plus, it’s a sweet reminder of when the actress wore a pink gown for her 2013 real-life wedding to hubby Ryan Sweeting.)

Fox News reports that the wedding will kick off the new season of Big Bang Theory. But, in another storyline, Sheldon and Amy are still not reunited.
“I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say they don’t make up by the end [of the episode],” executive producer Steve Molaro tells TVGuide.com. “It’s rough on both of them. I think [it’s] like a divorce in the beginning and it’s yet another thing that Sheldon and Amy and all seven of them need to navigate separately and as a group.”
Though Penny and Leonard are trying to elope to Vegas, don’t think their friends will miss the nuptials.
“Like many Vegas chapels do these days, the weddings are available to be streamed online, so that’s how they can watch,” he says. “Technology is our friend here. We always wanted everyone to be part of it somehow.”
