Allison Williams Marries Ricky Van Veen In Top-Secret, Star-Studded Ceremony
Actress Allison Williams is officially off the market!
Us Weekly reports that the 27-year-old Girls actress married her longtime boyfriend, entrepreneur Ricky Van Veen, on Saturday in a ranch wedding ceremony filled with celebrities.

According to the report, quite a few celebrities were in attendance to watch Ricky Van Veen and Allison Williams finally become husband and wife, including singers (Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Katy Perry) and actors (Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson and Lena Dunham).
Perhaps the biggest highlight of the star-studded event was the fact that it was essentially a top-secret ceremony.
An inside source told Us Weekly that the outdoor wedding was the end result of a week-long operation. Guests reportedly started things off on Thursday with a casual welcoming party. On Friday night, the guests were able to celebrate along with the future newlyweds at the couple’s rehearsal dinner.
In a February interview, according to USA Today, Allison Williams had a chance to open up about how her wedding day was delayed due to her busy work schedule as well as the scandal surrounding her father Brian Williams and his six-month suspension from the NBC News anchor desk.
“You sort of think, ‘What could possibly come along that would make me not think about this?’ And then I get Peter Pan and I think, ‘Okay, I will think only about Neverland and then we’ll go back to planning our wedding. Then current events started happening, so that derailed it a little bit, but it has been this really beautiful through-line in our lives. It’s just something we haven’t focused on, but, spoiler alert, we are excited!”
During that time, a lot of people lost their trust and respect for Brian Williams. However, Allison Williams made it crystal clear that she was not one of them.
“One thing the experience has not done is shake my trust and belief in him as a man. He’s a really good man. He’s an honest man. He’s a truthful man. He has so much integrity. He cares so much about journalism… And yes, he’s a really good dad. I know you can trust him because, as any good daughter does, I’ve tested him on that.”
Us Weekly confirms that Allison Williams wore a handmade couture gown designed by Oscar de la Renta as she walked down the aisle of matrimony.
