Jenna Jameson Arrested for DUI in Southern California
WESTMINSTER, Calif. — Former adult film star Jenna Jameson was arrested for drunk driving on Friday after she slammed her Range Rover SUV into a light pole in Southern California.
In a 911 call obtained by TMZ, Jameson, 38, can be heard crying “I’m Jenna Jameson” in the background while an unnamed witness talks to the operator about the accident.
“I was actually getting ready to call you guys because she was drunk,” the unidentified female caller explains to the 911 operator. “Next thing I know she went into the pole.” When the caller asked Jenna whether she needed paramedics, she replied, “No, I just want to go.”
ABC News reports that police arrived on the scene shortly after the crash and administered a field sobriety test to Jameson, which she failed. The reality TV star was then booked before being released.
A statement has since been issued by her official website saying that Jameson is home and well but has no immediate comment on the subject.
Jenna Jameson, most remembered for her career as the queen of porn in the 90s, crossed into the mainstream in the early 2000s, appearing in popular TV programs such as E! television’s Wild On! and Talk Soup, and the Fox animated sitcom Family Guy. In 2004, Jenna published her autobiography, How to make Love like a Porn Star: A Cationary Tale, which spent six weeks on The New York Times’ Best seller List.
Jameson, who has twin sons — Jesse Jameson and Journey Jette — with her on-and-off boyfriend, UFC mixed martial artist Tito Ortiz, confirmed her retirement from adult-entertainment industry in 2008.
