Nicki Minaj: New Engagement Whispers As She Rocks Heart Ring
Nicki Minaj has the internet buzzing once again about a possible engagement with Meek Mill thanks to her day out on the town. The buzz surrounds Minaj sporting a heart-shaped diamond ring, and it only increased speculation that Nicki and Meek are engaged.
If the two singers are engaged, they still have not publicly announced their change in relationship status to the rest of the world. Even a recent article in Fader hasn’t calmed the gossip storm surrounding the ring as Mills dished on his relationship with Nicki Minaj.
“[The relationship is] definitely real, but it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”
What keeps fanning the flames is when Nicki appears in public and on stage sporting the ring. That, and other celebrities — including Drake — continue to congratulate Minaj and Mill on an engagement.

The rumors first started after Nicki tweeted a picture of the ring to her Instagram account five months ago. The photo caption by Minaj showed a diamond and ring emoticons with little else to go by.
In the same interview, Mill confirmed the ring he purchased for Minaj was 15 carats and had a six-figure worth, with estimates as high as $500,000 for the piece of jewelry.

While the rumors of Nicki and Meek may not be confirmed, Mill has already told Shade 45 this summer that he would like to get Minaj pregnant to start a family.
“Nicki ain’t pregnant. But yeah, I wish… I already tweeted that five years ago, so it should be happening later. Sooner or later, when we ready for that.”
Minaj first started dating Mill early last year, and the couple has been spotted numerous places since. Prior to dating Meek, Nicki was in an 11-year relationship with Safaree Samuels. After the relationship ended, Samuels did not hold back about Minaj.
“Everyone around her works for her, you know? And it got to the point where I was being treated like an employee, instead of like her man.”
If the rumors aren’t true, Nicki still has a reason to celebrate. This week, she announced on her Instagram account that she was nominated for five awards at the MTV Europe VMAs and another nine awards at the BET Hip-Hop Awards.
As Taylor Swift is also nominated numerous times at the European VMAs, could Minaj set up another duet? If not, fans at least know that Taylor is firmly backing Nicki in the “Anaconda” singer’s feud with VMA host Miley Cyrus.
At the very least, fans could possibly have another collaboration to enjoy as rumors swirl about The Weeknd working with Nicki on a new song. That was the buzz surrounding Minaj after she posted a picture of the two last week with the caption, “stay tuned.”
