Whitney Houston Was Murdered, Says Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Aunt
It’s been more than a month since Bobbi Kristina Brown was laid to rest next to her mother, Whitney Houston, but authorities still haven’t charged anyone for her death. According to Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Leolah Brown, however, the young reality star and her mother met their fate the same way: they were both murdered.
Inside Edition reports that Brown recently opened up on her thoughts regarding both Houston’s death and Bobbi Kristina’s death, and she is adamant that both incidents were no accidents.
“This was no accident. I will never believe this was an accident… I believe that somebody killed my niece, just like they killed her mother. I don’t know who actually murdered Whitney.”
Brown, does, however, feel she knows exactly who killed Bobbi Kristina. Brown blames Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s former boyfriend, and she feels it’s only a matter of time before he is convicted.
“Nick murdered Bobbi Kristina. When Nick gets arrested, I think everything will fall like dominoes.”
Yet, since Gordon never married Bobbi Kristina, he isn’t eligible for any of the money in her trust fund. Why would someone, for lack of better words, want to get rid of their “gravy train?” Brown thinks that numerous people played a hand in murdering Bobbi Kristina, and perhaps Gordon was used a pawn so that others could get to Houston’s money.
“I believe that several people wanted Bobbi Kristina dead… I think the purpose of her death was to gain full access to Whitney Houston’s estate.”
Ironically, both Houston and Bobbi Kristina were found face-down in a bathtub, unconscious, which ultimately led to both of their deaths. The odds of one person dying this way is rare, but it’s almost unheard of that it would happened twice to members of the same family. Brown claims that the stage was set to make it look like Bobbi Kristina killed herself in the same manner her mother was found in 2012.
“I believe that Whitney was murdered. At some point we have to wake up and realize this is too close, too similar – mother, daughter, both in bathtubs… Something is very, very wrong with that picture.”
Although Brown didn’t specify who she thought may have wanted Houston dead, there has been bad blood between Brown and Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Pat Houston. In fact, Brown was so upset when Pat Houston spoke at Bobbi Kristina’s funeral service that she walked out before the service was over.
Leolah Brown left Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral service early after Pat Houston began to give a eulogy, but not before telling Pat that Whitney Houston would be “watching her from the grave.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown was laid to rest on August 3 at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey. Although Gordon hasn’t been criminally charged in the case, he faces an upcoming wrongful death civil trial, filed by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove.
