Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Not Doing Another ‘Twilight’ Movie, Will FKA Twigs Not Allow Him To Work With His Ex?

Despite rumors that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are thinking about starring in a new Twilight movie together, new reports indicate that is not the case. According to Gossip Cop, the former Twilight stars will not be reprising their roles in another Twilight film. That being said, is Pattinson’s fiancee FKA Twigs one reason why he won’t do another movie with Stewart?

According to Dish Nation, Twigs doesn’t want Pattinson to star alongside Stewart in another Twilight film because of fears the two might get back together. Additionally, she’s afraid that Stewart would not hesitate to cheat with Pattinson, especially after she reportedly cheated on Pattinson back in 2012. As fans recall, this is one reason that is cited for the couple’s eventual split.

Although this report blames Twigs for Pattinson not wanting to appear in another Twilight movie, there are other reasons why Pattinson and Stewart are not going to be teaming up anytime soon to reboot the hit vampire franchise.

According to Gossip Cop, the first major hurdle to the idea that Pattinson and Stewart are considering reprising their roles is the fact that a new Twilight movie is not currently in the works. In fact, the rumors of a new Twilight movie surfaced after Pattinson and Stewart were asked about their past roles during promotional press interviews.

While Robert Pattinson was promoting his upcoming film Life, he was asked a few questions about how his role in Twilight helped shape his career. Pattinson discussed how his past role had an impact on where he is now as an actor, but he refused to talk about his relationship with Stewart.

At the same time, Stewart was asked about Twilight during her own promotional run for the upcoming movie Equals. Specifically, Stewart was asked about a potential new Twilight movie and whether or not she would want to be in it. The actress replied by saying she was “interested” in learning what the story would include but added, “That doesn’t mean I want to keep doing it.”

Following these two separate interviews, many started to speculate that a new Twilight movie was being considered and that Pattinson and Stewart would reprise their roles in the film. However, this has turned out not to be the case.

As far as Twigs is concerned, it’s clear that she isn’t upset over a fictional project, but that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t be if the rumors were true. Either way, fans should not expect to see Robert Pattinson and Stewart teaming up anytime soon.
