‘Southern Charm’ Kathryn Confirms Second Pregnancy With Thomas Ravenel
Southern Charm’s Kathryn Calhoun Dennis has announced her second pregnancy with co-star Thomas Ravenel. The on-again-off-again couple was obviously on again and are now expecting.
The Inquisitr reported last week that Dennis was pregnant, but it has now been confirmed by the Bravo network star. At that time, it was made public that Southern Charm was renewed for a third season to the delight of fans. Last week, members of the cast took to Twitter and said “The third time’s a charm!” announcing that they were returning to Bravo for another season.
On Labor Day, Dennis teased that it was a good day to share some news, but then never followed up with any information. Perhaps the beautiful redhead just has her hands full with shooting a new season, baby Kensie, and the baby on the way.
Today, People Magazine revealed that Dennis and Ravenel’s second child, a son, is indeed on the way, and they are both very excited.
“I’m just excited about the baby,” she says. “And I’m happy [our daughter] Kensie will have a friend to play with. It’s nice that they will be so close in age.”
Dennis said this second pregnancy came as much of a surprise as her first pregnancy that produced Kensington in 2104.
“I was surprised,” Dennis says of finding out she was pregnant again. “Thomas and I are always on and off, but we had a whirlwind romance that weekend. That’s kind of how we were with the first pregnancy, too. Things were wishy-washy, but we embraced it.”
For now, the couple says they are friends and everything right now is pleasant. Ravenel says the children are the best thing that has happened to him.
“The greatest gift thus far in my life has been the privilege of being a father to my daughter Kensie. Now, with a son on the way, I feel doubly blessed. My cup runneth over.”

According to the Inquisitr, not all of the cast has committed to the third season. Ravenel has been very public saying “no way.”
