The Sims 3 Leaked Two Weeks Ahead of Release
The Sims 3, the hotly anticipated video game by Electronic Arts, has seemingly been leaked online a full two weeks before its official release. Files that appear to contain the game were distributed via sharing site The Pirate’s Bay early Monday morning.

The Sims 3 files posted on The Pirate’s Bay are just under 5GB total and come from a user listed as “lordofwhee.” As of this posting, nearly 750 people had downloaded the files.
“‘Cause I love all of you so very much, I present The Sims 3,” the top of the page states.
Comments from a moderator and others suggest The Sims 3 leak is the real deal. Electronic Arts has yet to comment on the matter.
The Pirate’s Bay, you may remember, was the subject of a major court case last month. A Swedish court found its founders guilty of breaking copyright law and sentenced them to one year in jail along with US$3.6 million in damages.
