Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Wedding: ‘Twilight’ Star And ‘Two Weeks’ Singer Are ‘Excited To Be Married’
Despite some reports that Robert Pattinson and fiancé FKA Twigs were having relationship difficulties, a source close to the couple has confirmed that all is well. In fact, according to Us Weekly, Pattinson and Twigs are in no hurry to exchange vows and are “excited to be married.”
The insider went on to reveal that the former Twilight star and British singer are getting on great with their relationship and have no plans to rush into a wedding.
“Twigs is still enormously happy with Rob and they aren’t rushing to have the wedding,” the source stated. “Things couldn’t be better.”
The high-profile couple decided to get engaged this past April after being together for only six months. The news of their engagement was broken by the rapper T-Pain, who was actually making an April Fools’ Day joke on social media about the two getting married, which, much to the surprise of fans, Twigs confirmed.
Meanwhile, with Robert Pattinson currently working on a number of new projects, including his role in the upcoming film The Lost City of Z and Twigs working on her own musical career, the couple have found ways to stay in touch despite their busy schedules.
“They text and talk nonstop when she’s on the road and they are away for work,” the source stated. “They are always talking when they can’t be together.”
However, the couple’s relationship has been through its share of strains. Although the source denied the rumors that Pattinson and Twigs are going through relationship woes, Twigs recently stated that the newfound fame and attention is something she could do without.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, the British singer revealed that she wasn’t aware of all the added attention that came along with dating a star like Pattinson.
“I don’t understand what the levels [of fame] are,” she admitted to the outlet. “I’m a bit naive. I don’t read Heat [magazine], for example. I don’t engage in that world, even with myself, even with my own career.”
Twigs also confirmed that she much rather live outside of the limelight than being the center of attention.
“I absolutely love it,” she stated when asked about her home life. “That’s all I want to be, I’m such a home bod.”
With both Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs preferring to keep their personal matters out of the public eye, it is unclear when or if they will announce their official wedding date.
