Apple: New Band Colors Are Coming To The Apple Watch, One Color Already Leaked
Today is a big day for Apple fans, because it is the day where Apple is announcing all their new goodies which includes, fingers crossed, a new iPhone. Of course, in typical Apple style, before the keynote even began, leaked information started to sprout up, and that is exactly what happened today.
It had already been rumored that the Apple Watch will be getting some new band colors, but there wasn’t any solid evidence of it until today. According the The Verge, tech blogger Larry Greenberg shared an image on Twitter with what looks to be a Product(Red) version of the Apple Watch Sport Band and, of course, it had the distinctive (Red) branding.
I can confirm one product that Apple will be announcing at today’s event. #AppleWatch #red #product pic.twitter.com/HkuQvO5jLG

In the tweet, Greenberg confirms that Apple will be coming out with this one band color, but it wouldn’t surprise us if more colors will also be revealed. Apple has been participating with the Product Red charity for a number of years, so, of course, the Red band for the Apple Watch makes perfect sense. The Red band will go along with the other Red products that Apple currently has like iPod, iPhone, and iPad cases and headphones.
Another cool thing about the new Red band is the stainless steel pins that come along with it. In the photo, it clearly says that stainless steel pins would be included with the red band, and usually for an Apple Watch Sport, it only comes with aluminum pins. This might not be a big deal to some people, but others like their stainless steel.
MacRumors is also saying that the bands have already been arriving at Apple stores, which means they can be available today for purchase after they are announced at the Apple event at 10 a.m.
Besides the Red band that has already been shown today, Apple is expected to unveil numerous other colors besides the red, like orange, yellow, beige, and blue. Hopefully, they will throw a pink or purple in there — you know people will buy a pink band for their fancy Apple watch.
