Jennifer Garner All Smiles While Running Errands With Ben Affleck, Has She Forgiven Him For His Alleged Affair?

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck to continue to put on smiling faces whenever they are out and about with their children. Is is all an act? That is still yet to be determined, but the couple was all smiles as they dropped their kids off this week for the first day of school.

“They smiled and chatted during the morning run,” says a source who spoke with People. “There was no obvious tension between them.”

Since announcing their split in June after 10 years of marriage, the couple has been trying to put on a united front when out with their children Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and son Samuel, 3. But cracks in their seemingly amicable split began to show soon after their joint separation announcement.

First, rumors ran rampant that while separated, the Batman v Superman star cheated on his estranged wife with their then-nanny, Christine Ouzounian. Affleck’s camp vehemently denied the allegations, even as pictures surfaced of Ben and Christine meeting late night in his driveway.

Then the former nanny posted pictures to social media of her posing with Tom Brady’s Super Bowl rings while on a private plane — which seems innocent, until you learn that she was on the private plane accompanying Ben to a poker tournament in Las Vegas.

While her relationship troubles were a daily headline, Jennifer Garner seemed to be putting her head down and moving forward with work on her latest film Miracles From Heaven in Atlanta.

In fact, Ben, Jen, and their children were spotted all over Atlanta, appearing to be one happy family.

That was not the case when pictures surfaced of the couple and their kids at Disney World. Reportedly there for Affleck’s birthday, the photos that surfaced showed the stars looking unhappy while at the happiest place on earth.

“This was all he wanted to do for his birthday, go to Disney World with his family, and that included Jen,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “It was clear they were together for the kids and putting up a united front.”

The couple was also spotted smiling and laughing while leaving what appeared to be a marriage counselor’s office. But according to the source who spoke with People, “there is no reconciliation. They are working with a professional because there are emotions involved and they want to make this transition as easy as possible for their family.”

One thing seems to be clear: Jennifer Garner will continue to try and shield her kids from all of the media scrutiny surrounding her marriage, but a reconciliation does not appear to be in the cards.
