Prince Harry: Is Royal Playboy Smitten With Chelsy Davy Again?
Prince Harry and Zimbabwean socialite Chelsy Davy are reportedly set to give their romance yet another try. Harry and Chelsy had an on and off relationship since 2004, and both are single again after lengthy relationships. Prince Harry split with actress and model Cressida Bonas last year whilst Chelsy’s relationship with Charles Goode ended in January. Despite their differences reports claim that Harry has always carried a torch for Chelsy.
According to the Daily Mail Chelsy and Prince Harry split shortly after Prince Williams marriage to Kate Middleton in 2011. After attending the wedding with Harry it was reported that Chelsy felt that she just did not fit in with his family. The relationship between the pair ended with Chelsy reportedly telling friends “that ship has sailed.”
The Telegraph reports that Harry and Chelsy met secretly during the 30-year-old Prince’s recent trip to Africa and as a result they are considering giving their relationship another try. They report that a source has told the Sun that the couple have remained close friends and that Harry has never fallen out of Love with Chelsy.
“Harry still holds a candle for her. Chelsy has his heart.”
“They saw each other recently. There’s still very much something between them, but Chelsy won’t commit yet because she doesn’t want to lead a life in the spotlight. Harry’s very sensitive to that. He has never fallen out of love with Chelsy.”
According to the Daily Mail if Harry and Chelsy are to have any chance of their relationship working out they have some pretty huge obstacles to overcome. Chelsy has repeatedly been reported to have no interest in a life in the spotlight that being a member of the British Royal family would bring.
“Chelsy is a very strong woman and a real free spirit. While lots of girls dream of being a princess, she has no interest in that kind of life at all. She said she could never, ever see herself as a member of the Royal Family. Chelsy finally decided to call it quits with Harry. She told him that she saw no future in the two of them being together.”
Harry and Chelsy will perhaps have an opportunity to work out whether or not their relationship has a future when Harry retuns to Africa later this year. Apparently the source claims that it is “no coincidence that Harry decided to spend more time in Africa.” The Prince will visit Lesotho and South Africa in November and December.
