Kristen Taekman Is Heartbroken Over Cheating Scandal: ‘Josh Has Torn Kristen’s World Apart’

Kristen Taekman knows that marriage is hard. During her first season of The Real Housewives of New York, Taekman truly struggled to keep everything together. Taekman didn’t get the support from her husband that she had hoped for, and she was often left with the couple’s children all by herself. Josh was skipping important therapy meetings for their daughter, who couldn’t walk by herself and Taekman was frustrated.

But Kristen Taekman did reveal that watching The Real Housewives of New York back with her husband showed them what they needed to do to fix their relationship. Kristen was shocked that things had gotten so bad between them. When Taekman returned to the show, she admitted that things were much better at home, and the two did celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary while filming this past season.

According to a new Radar Online report, Kristen Taekman is heartbroken over the recent news that her husband had an Ashley Madison account. Even though he admits that he merely made the account as a joke with his friends, his transactions prove that he did spend plenty of money on the website, which surely doesn’t sit well with Kristen.

“Kristen is having a really hard time accepting what is happening,” an insider has revealed about the situation, adding, “Josh has broken her heart and she is reacting like anyone would.”

“Josh has torn Kristen’s world apart. While he publicly apologized for his actions, he still is guilty. He has been lying for this long and then tried to lie about it again at first. All of this is completely embarrassing for Kristen,” the source adds, revealing, “Kristen will never quit her marriage because she has children with Josh. But everyone knows about Kristen and Josh’s marital problems… and at this point, Kristen is devastated.”

Taekman spent some time in Los Angeles with her parents after the scandal broke, and she has been spotted around town with her children. Last month, it was revealed that he had spent over $1,500 on the website and had made more than 62 transactions. If it had been a joke with his friends, how did he managed to spend so much money? And what did he spend it on? Maybe Kristen Taekman wanted him to come clean, as he did release a statement defending his actions.

“I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family,” Josh revealed after a few days of denial, adding, “We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives.”
