‘Orange Is The New Black’ Actress Madeline Brewer Cast In ‘Grimm’

Actress Madeline Brewer of Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black has been cast in the upcoming fifth season of NBC’s Grimm. The OITNB star will be taking on the supernatural by playing the role of a lizard-like wesen that is called a Skalengeck, TVLine has confirmed. Brewer’s character, who goes by the name of Billie Trump, is “a fierce lieutenant in an up-and-coming Wesen street gang who is raising hell in Portland.”

Trump and her gang is said to be just the beginning for Portland and Detective Nick Burkhardt, who will be dealing with the death of Julia, a determined vengeance and some “really terrible things to come,” Comicbook.Com reports. A recently released 30-second promo for the NBC series’ new season also showcases a scared Monroe and the gang. Actress Elizabeth Rodriguez will also be back for season 5 alongside Brewer and the series regulars.

“When he lost his true love, all that was left was fury. The road to vengeance is paved with Grimm intentions.”

As Orange Is the New Black fans know best, Madeline Brewer is best known for playing a drug-addict by the name of Tricia during the drama show’s first season.

Grimm season 5 is slated to premiere on Friday, October 30, on NBC.
