Gilbert Gottfried Reads Erotic Novel Fifty Shades Of Grey [VIDEO] [NSFW]

Inquisitr readers are likely familiar with the erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey, which has made waves in the US due to being banned from Libraries in Florida for its graphic sexual depictions. They may not be, however, familiar with Gilbert Gottfried‘s sensual reading of the book. In a video from humor site College Humor, Gottfried, a voice actor famous for his grating voice and for his role in the Problem Child movies and as the parrot Iago in Disney’s Aladdin.

This add’s a whole new meaning to the scene in Aladdin where the parrot shoves crackers into the tied up Sultan’s mouth. A disturbing meaning.

Fifty Shades of Grey is the first in a trilogy involving Anastasia Steele and a young business magnate, Christian Grey’s evolving romance. The book was originally a fanfiction about Stephanie Myers’ popular Twilight series, which later evolved into its own story. It was originally called Master of the Universe, and posted with her penname “Snowqueen’s Icedragon.”

The New York Times profiled “Fifty Shades of Gray” and its buzz recently, amusingly speaking to some housewives on the condition of anonymity because their porn-reading habit is so scandalous. One housefrau from Long Island- who did not provide her name- whispered to the paper:

“Women just feel like it’s O.K. to read it… It’s taboo for women to admit that they watch pornography, but for some reason it’s O.K. to admit that they’re reading this book.”

The book is so sensual that even Paypal decided, temporarily, to stop accepting payments on the book.

As Gottfried finishes his reading in the video, a female listener suddenly exclaims “holy shit, this is hot!”
