Nikki Minaj Gets Vocal In Feud With Miley Cirus At The VMAs

Nikki Minaj has never been one to be very silent about anything that happens around her. That fact was displayed in the limelight at the MTV Video Music Awards when Minaj made it very clear that she didn’t appreciate comments made by Miley Cyrus. According to the Chicago Tribune, Cyrus criticized Minaj in an interview with the New York Times recently, and Minaj was clearly not happy about what she heard. As a result, Nikki had a few words for Miley as she exited the stage of the VMAs, which Miley Cyrus was hosting. Here’s what Nikki had to say.

“And now back to this b—- that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press… Miley, what’s good?”

Following the comments made by Nikki Minaj, Miley Cyrus blamed the Times for the comments, stating that the press manipulated what she said to cause the celebrity feud. However, Minaj wasn’t content with that response as she said, “Don’t play with me b—-” under her breath.

The feud between Nikki and Miley is being dubbed one of the wildest celebrity feuds as of late by Hollywood Life and is arguably just what fans and the media were looking for. After all, there are few things people seem to love more than celebrity drama.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Nikki Minaj has found herself in a celebrity feud. As a matter of fact, recently, Nikki has been very open about her feuds with Mariah Carey, Pink, Taylor Swift, and several other female artists. For example, Nikki Minaj feuded with Taylor Swift after not being nominated for the Video of the Year award, saying the following.

“If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated.”

Taylor Swift responded to Nikki’s comments with the following.

“I’ve done nothing but love and support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of them took your spot.”

While some are calling out Nikki Minaj for being dramatic and openly pushing the drama on stage, there’s no doubt that it was a good play for publicity. After all, if there’s one thing that people are going to remember about the Video Music Awards, it’s the fact that Nikki Minaj and Miley Cyrus had a very popular feud.

Regardless of what happens between Nikki and Miley, there’s one thing we can be sure of — Nikki knows that feuds with other celebrities keep her in the spotlight, and she’s not likely to stop anytime soon.
