Kristen Taekman Relives Wedding Anniversary On ‘RHONY’: Shocked Over Cheating Stories

Kristen Taekman went into this current season of The Real Housewives of New York with the mindset that her marriage was better than ever. It is no secret that her first season of the show was tough on her and Josh Taekman, but she claims that they worked through it and they are doing good. But then this season aired and Josh’s name was caught up in the Ashley Madison scandal.

Kristen Taekman had no idea that her husband was fooling around on the adult site that helps married men connect with women to have affairs. This news didn’t get out until the show had wrapped, so it must have been awkward for Kristen to watch herself planning their wedding anniversary and being completely in love with her husband — not knowing that he had an Ashley Madison account.

According to a new Us Weekly report, Kristen Taekman was planning her wedding anniversary party on The Real Housewives of New York’s lost footage episode. Carole Radziwill and Taekman were planning the party and were browsing through Taekman’s wedding photos.

“She had what I have and it got taken away from her,” Kristen revealed after hanging out with Carole, adding, “Honestly, I can’t even imagine how hard that is for her.”

At the time, Kristen Taekman decided to wear her wedding dress to the party, where all of the other guests wore white. And some sweet words were exchanged at the party. If this scandal hadn’t happened, the words may have been adorable. But given everything that has happened, his actions make the situation awkward to watch.

“I love you more now than I did then, if that’s even possible,” Kristen told her husband, which had him reply, “I’m very fortunate. I don’t think I say thank you enough for all the wonderful things you do as a wife, as a mother, as a friend.”

Even though it was a beautiful party, Taekman may have been completely hurt and devastated by her husband’s actions. Even though Josh claims that he signed up to the show as a joke, Kristen was hurt and shocked.

“Kristen is extremely embarrassed and upset over thinking [Josh] was having affairs,” a source has revealed to People, adding that Taekman has spent a week in California with her parents, saying, “As of now she is being her own P.I. and investigating. She’s looking through phone records and asking him questions. She doesn’t believe him. His story keeps changing.”
