Heather Thomson Defends Kristen Taekman’s Husband After Ashley Madison Scandal: ‘Josh Is Completely Innocent’
Heather Thomson believes Kristen Taekman’s husband, Josh, is “completely innocent,” despite his recent admission to having an account with Ashley Madison, a dating website aimed at married people who desire to have an affair.
“The Ashley Madison thing is unfortunate because Josh is completely innocent,” Heather Thomson told Us Weekly on September 2 of her friend of 15 years. “If you knew Josh the way I know him, you’d be completely like, ‘Of course he would sign up for that with this buddies!’ That’s a total Josh thing to do! He has a very fraternity side to him that I love.”
While Heather Thomson isn’t taking the Ashley Madison scandal seriously, the publication of her husband’s account has to have had some impact on Kristen, who Heather Thomson said has been a “trooper” since the scandal broke.
“They’re going to be fine. They are my friends for life. I count them among my dearest friends. There is nothing but love there,” Heather Thomson added.
After the scandal broke at the end of last month, Heather Thomson’s friend, Josh, spoke to People Magazine, admitting he signed up for an Ashley Madison account but failing to admit whether or not he pursued a woman who wasn’t his wife.
In other Heather Thomson news, the Yummie shape wear creator is said to be leaving The Real Housewives of New York City after Season 7. Although there has been no official word from Heather Thomson, as the Inquisitr reported, a source recently claimed she’s had enough of her co-stars’ drama. Below is what a source revealed of Heather Thomson’s reality future to Us Weekly in July.
“[Heather Thomson] wants to focus full-time on her business, Yummie, her family, and expanding into the health and nutrition arena. The cons of doing the show far outweigh the pros at this point, and what the show has become don’t fit what she wants to be doing. She did it to promote her business and it devolved into ridiculous fights over the ridiculous antics of some unstable women. She did the show to promote her business and later to be with her best friend, Carole Radziwill, and didn’t expect it to end up with fighting with Bethenny and Sonja [Morgan] and the rest edited out. It is no longer a good fit with where she sees her life going so she is making the choice to walk away.”
Heather Thomson starred on The Real Housewives of New York City for three seasons.
